Easy and convenient

This was our first night stay on a cross country trip. Totally fine, safe, good for dogs. Shower rooms were decent. I’d stay again.

I like it

They have bathrooms and shower. They are pet friendly and have hike trails.

The only thing I would like to see added is a handwash station in the bathroom.

Kiddy up!

This is a horse and human RV park.  There is a horse hotel, Laundry, and dog park on site.  Our site was level on a moderate size rock pad.  A fire ring or picnic table was not provided.  We did have FHU with 30 amp service.  The nearest grocery store was within 5 miles.  This park does offer WiFi…

Semi desert by the Lake

We stayed here primarily because it was on our route to Northern New Mexico and Colorado. It was exactly as we expected and we enjoyed an overnight here in June. Fortunately we had electric power for AC and were comfortable. Enjoyed some short hikes right from our campsite. Very isolated location…

  • Like most lakes in the Southwest, Conchas is down, but we came for the campsite and were pleased.
  • Very nice shelters in each campsite. Best I've seen

Breath of Fresh Air

Perfect staff! Staff was extremely helpful over the phone and showed us our site when we arrived. Beautiful views if you do a little walk around. Dog run, horse stable and very clean bathrooms! We will be back!

Nice but crowded

After finding the place sites were easily seen with big numbers. Sites are side by side with a small gap in between. The lake is walking distance from camp but can not see it from site 27. All in all it’s very nice. Pick nic tables, a pavilion, grill, fire ring , water ,electric plus showers and…

Good…not great

Nice campground. If you fish there lots of lake to fish in. The restrooms could be cleaner, but if been in much worse. Bird watching is fantastic!

Great stopover

Park is clean and neat and offers a great view of the Tucumcari Mountain. Three retired brothers own it and it is well kept. It has several horse corrals and a barn with two stalls and pens. There is a small dog park (dirt/gravel) The park is a large gravel lot with level, marked sites offering…

Nice view, inconsistent amps

Ute Lake campground had nice large pull through sites, a shaded picnic area, and nice views of the lake. The playground was very nice and shaded. We were disappointed that the electrical hookups did not provide consistent output. We were unable to run our AC while the refrigerator was on, and the…

Nice, but short.

We pulled in without a reservation since we are on vacation. They were rude about not calling ahead and would not honor discounts. They did have a spot and it was a quiet evening. Told to call before 11am to stay a second night. When we did so, we were told, “I’m not sure about that. I’ll call you…

Glad It was Just an Overnighter

This campground (CG) was easy to find and enter. Check in was a simple process. However, the person checking us in was rude, lectured on rules versus simply telling us, and charged us $2 for being 50 minutes early. Our bad on being early as we didn’t realize the time change to Mountain time was so…

Beaver cove

I stayed in Beaver Cove. There are 4 campsites with a vault toilet, and a water spiket. Each site has a cement picnic table under a shelter. The ground is pebbles. A good spot for one night
