Park has good sites. Only a few trees though. Facilities are good. Management is good. Town is very historic. A good staging location to visit the wilderness areas where Elk herds roam in the evening. Great fun!
This campground has 10 sites with Spring Creek running through it. The price was $7 per site. Our site #5 backed up to the creek. You need to drive up a narrow paved road then a wider graded gravel road then make a sharp turn down to the right. Sites aren’t big but we did see some hunters in a…

I love this place so much. This was my first time camping in Montana. It was breathtaking for me. The lake was so peaceful and clear. The trail around the lake is a nice walk to see all the different views around it. The meadows were full of wildflowers in the summer. The campground is a small…

Stayed here for the week while traveling through the area. They have laundry, showers, bathrooms, WiFi and sites have full hookups. Most people staying were only there for a night or two passing through. They allow dogs and do have a pet area with bags to pick up after your pet. The rv park is…
July 23-24, 2019 Windy, raining and dust flying everwhere. Site R012 is $36.50 a night. Site has electric and water is 800 ft away. Showers and flush toilets. Dump station was inoperable when we were there.

Mosquitos!! Lots of them 😱. The view was unmatched and beautiful but be prepared for the swarm eeekk!!
Mosquitoes were vicious when we stayed. Technically only 6 campsites and seems to be a popular place. I’d suggest getting there early afternoon if possible and be prepared for thick mosquitoes
Brand new, 6 full hook up sites. $28.00 full. Pretty great find. Good little store and nearby restaurants.
This spot is outside the west entrance of Yellowstone and is very convenient for visiting Yellowstone HOWEVER... the mosquitos were crazy. My boyfriend and I took our propane stove into our tent cos we couldn’t stand the mosquitos that much! This spot is beautiful but the mosquitos unfortunately…
This campground has to be one of my favorites ever, and that’s definitely saying something! We arrived on this spot after spending a long day at Yellowstone and being bummed we couldn’t get a backcountry pass for the night. But our luck quickly changed when we found this hidden gem, about 20…

Crystal Lake is a nice area. To get there it's a mix of about 20 miles of gravel and 1 lane paved roads. The gravel roads are well maintained. The 1 lane paved roads are a little iffy if you're pulling a trailer and its a busy travel day. The lake is beautiful and small enough hike around it if you…

Nice area, refreshing swim.. Could be more shade. Limited fire pits but lots of space. Free for Montana residents!
Picnic tables and fire rings were great. Right along the creek. Easy to get in and out of.
Such an amazing place to camp but a heard of cows came threw twice and was heard mooing all threw the days and nights. Beautiful scenery and wide open spaces.
We stayed here on a trip out to Glacier NP. If you are just passing through to get from point A-B and don't want to get out into the back country, this campsite really fits the bill.
It's clean, maintained and relatively quiet. As others noted, it's essentially free, donations accepted.
