    Tresure Island RV Park

    No frills, well-maintained, and clean

This is a typical casino parking lot RV "park" with full hookups. It is basically a parking lot with mostly pull through sites. The last row consists of "deluxe" back-in sites with a few trees. That being said, it is well maintained, the sites are level, the park was clean, and the utilities were in good working order. It was quite and easy to get in and out of. The shower house was adequate as well. We would stay here again. We camped at Treasure Island RV Park in a Motorhome.

County park close in to Minneapolis/ St Paul area

In demand park close in to cities. RV portion has full hook ups. No hook up sites for up to 24ft RVs also available. Non hook up sites are wooded and well spaced. RV sites similar to private campgrounds. Must reserve months in advance as usually full. Have secluded tent sites too.

    Nice park!

Nice level full hook up sites. Only reason it didn’t get 5 stars is because it has no showers and bathrooms are small. It was hard to contact anyone if there is a problem. But the experience was positive. Lots of geese!

    Willow River State Park Campground

    A nice getaway off season

Three campgrounds, first come first serve. $10/day entry $40/daily for electric hook up (non-resident); no full hook-ups, no water, only 1 vault toilet open per campground. Year round availability, however- tough to find! Very hard to get a cellular connection (T-mobile). Beautiful views of the river, right along the edge if you tent camp. Multiple playgrounds, hiking trails and loads of nature, large beach and waterfalls.

    Dakotah Meadows RV Park

    Nice modern campground

Many pull through sites available - most of which you pull through to face another site - great if you are camping with friends and want to share the area. Full hook up sites at a reasonable rate. Secure shower/bathhouses and a large play park for kids. There is an RV wash station and fuel pumps on-site. Shuttle bus comes through the camp if you want to go to the casino and play- it’s also within walking distance.

    Nice little campground

Very nice little quiet campground on the outside edge of Mankato. Very nice people and easy to work with. Not really up do date with technology for booking and such but over all great place. Large sites and very reasonably priced for a full hook up site. Open and not wooded area for the bigger rigs.

    Beautiful

This park is truly beautiful. Beach is great. Easy boat launch. Clean facility. The staff is super nice. Great hiking trails, bike trails, nearby horseback riding. Quick trip to Afton for lunch at Afton House Inn. Quick trip to Prescott for bloodies at Muddy Waters. (Park is a dry park.) My only wish is that my little dog could join us and they had full hook ups.

    Great campground in Hutchinson

We have stayed here several times now in many different area's. Sites with full hook ups with wide open grass and play area for kids and adults. Go to the other side by lake and more camping with water and elec. closer to the river. Clean showers and bath rooms. Wild life Refuge so you have ducks and geese around often...Very nice place.

    Great Place by Golf course

We have stayed her many time visiting family. Great golf course right next to it. Nice large sites and great price. 27.00 for pull through and full hook-up. We have always had friendly people staying next to us. Has a very very small swing set for kids. If you are in search of a great butcher shop while there—head to Schmidt’s meat market in Nicollet, MN. Outstanding items to grill. Would highly recommend staying at Sawmill.

    Great Campground

We just found this campground in September and this year we've been there 3 times and we live in Montana, there's no place I'd rather stay. It has nice clean bathrooms and it's a great place to walk your pets, they do have 3 different areas to camp but we always use the full hook-ups

The people at check-in are always so friendly, and very helpful.

lots of things in the area to do, and the "city" isn't that far to drive to.

    Jewel near the City

We stayed only one night at this campground during our summer travels. We did not explore much of the camping area. The site we had was plenty big enough. It was a back in site and kids had plenty of room to run and play in our site. This campground was the Modern area with electricity. Some sites had water and some had full hook ups. We knew we didn’t need much for one night so we just got one with electricity. Check in was easy and there was plenty of room to maneuver around. This campground is in a great location if you want the perks of a city. It’s quiet at night. We visited the Mall of America while we were here. It was about a 20 min drive from the campground. Access to the interstate was very easy.

    Lebanon Hills Regional Park

    Spacious!!

My family and I took our second trip with our travel trailer to Lebanon Hills Campground locates here in the Apple Valley. It is located on the fringe of a nature reserve with miles of hiking and biking trails. We stayed in the west loop and all the sites are full hook up back in spots. Each site has well groomed grass and plenty of space between campers. Site also came with a XL picnic table and fire ring w/grill grate. The East Loop provides campers with more rustic accommodations. Also in the East Loop is a nice play ground and trails. In between the different loops is a nice pond with groomed trails that go all the way around. About a half mile from the campground is Skills Park which contains over 10 miles of mountain bike trails! One down side is that if you want to swim you have to travel about 4 miles to Lebanon Hills Visitor Center where there is a beach. They do rent paddles boards and kayaks there. All in all, beautiful place and a great trip!!

    Lebanon Hills Regional Park

Perfect City Getaway for the Family

This campground is one of two in the Regional Dakota County Park system. At Lebanon they have two 3 campgrounds rolled into one. East look within the trees has electrical, North Loop in the trees has no electrical, and West look has full hook ups with water, waste, and electrical. It was really a great set up here. The check in was super smooth...they even give you specific bags for recycling and garbage so that is awesome they are doing their part. There are a ton of hiking trails and little ponds near by. This is the ideal place to come to get away from the city even though you can hear the cars a little. Lots of trails, great playgrounds, and perfect paths for kids to ride bikes.

The campsites themselves range from simple out in the open to shaded lots. I chose site 78 in the east loop and I could not see my neighbors when back by the fire ring so it was perfect. Other sites in the east loop are similar. There is one shower/bathhouse per loop and each contain 2 showers and 2 stalls with 2 sinks.

This was a great stopover on the way up north.

    Willow River State Park Campground

    Best state park in Wisconsin

The hike to the falls is a must-do. Like others said, it gets crowded in the summer. There’s a nice 6 mile loop with lots of hills, and plenty shorter hikes around the lake a dam. Camp in the 100 or 200 sites for a more peaceful camping experience. There’s a small beach and boat launch, and plenty of picnic sites. We also biked on the st croix river trail, and enjoyed the cute small towns on both sides of the river. For rvs, this is the dream campground. There’s wide gravel and mostly level sites, with plenty of space for slide outs. Big sites, yet private ! Nice bathrooms and great showers in the 100 campground. Can’t wait to come here again!!

This RV park is clean, friendly, and convenient to the cities. Some road noise, but you are in the city so expected, but yet still quieter then in some areas being close to things. I recommend this park.

Close to everything but yet secluded

We live about 15 mins. away from this campground. We stayed in the East Loop which is for smaller RVs and tents. it has electricity but no water hookups, however there are water pumps. We stayed at site 72 which is at the beginning of the loop. This site isn’t as secluded by trees as the other sites and we weren’t able to position our pop up to face into the camping spot which was a little bit of a downer since this spot is on the inner loop. Our spot was spacious, and close to the bathrooms and play area. The play area was really nice and looked brand new. Our girls loved making new friends to play with. We liked that we weren’t super close to any campers unlike most RV spots are nowadays. We will be back to explore other parts of the campground. We did get to check out part of one of the many hiking paths.

    Everything for anyone

There are 3 different campgrounds in this facility. A tenting area with no hookups, a second with electric only (fill with water before parking), and the full hookups. This place is in the metro but you would never guess that:) It has a swimming beach and a chain of small lakes. There is a mountain biking area just down the road. And a large shopping area near by.

    Family Friendly

This is a great family campground! Camping spots are rather close, but we have two little ones so they made friends quick with other children. We didn’t get to swim at the lake because it was shut down due to a chemical spill at the time, but we did walk over and check it out. The views are great! We stayed in a RV spot next to the lake which had water and electric hookups. The playground is a short walk to the tent area, which was a big hit with our kids. Our girls didn’t want to leave! We stayed for two nights during the 4th of July. We were able to see fireworks all around. Our site was also right next to the office which was also the location for bathrooms and showers. The girls loved going inside for ice cream treats when the weather was a little too hot to handle. We had fun going on a short hike and finding wild blackberries to eat. We had a great time and hope to be back soon!

    Beautiful Campground

This is a really nice campground with cement parking pads with full hookups. The grass around the lots is very green, lush and well maintained. Campground is right next to the hotel/casino and very much within walking distance. There is a RV wash bay available for a fee and the campground even has gasoline available 24 hours a day using a credit card. I would not hesitate to stay here again.
