Check your site

Used Dyrt to scope out the site. Everything was accurate and the Michigan parks website is a breeze to use.

NOT ALL THE SITES UAVE FULL HOOKUPS. I did not realize this when booking. Nobody's fault but mine. Great fishing ponds, the sites are a little tights.

Camp Dearborn Loyalist

I’ve been camping at camp Dearborn for most of my life. I have so many great memories at this campground. The daily activities and dance for the kids are great. They have 2 beaches and a pool. Many cabins, tents, and RV spots. Multiple bathrooms with showers. Very decent prices also.

Office Lied

We were told if we arrived by 9 PM we could have a campsite. We arrived at 8:50 and the office was closed. We had no where to sleep due to the fact that we had trusted the person in the office who lied to us.

Nice Area

The beach was a very nice place to spend the day. The lake was very warm and the swimming area had a nice depth gradient to satisfy good and not-so-good swimmers. The water was clean and the texture of the lake floor was comfortable for wading. There are flush toilets at the beach with a concession…

BRIGHTON RECREATIONAL AREA

Great campground. We camped in the upper campground over looking the lake. The lower campground is more open and little shade. You have to walk a short distance to the beach but while worth it.

Nice stop over

We stayed for 4 nights while visiting friends and family. There had been tons of rain and so it wasn’t as nice as I’m sure it is during normal weather. Lots of wet and muddy areas. BUT they were constantly filling these areas with gravel to help alleviate any problems and keep things from being all…

Rustic camping, a whole lot to do!

Green Lake is a part of the Waterloo State Recreation Area, a 20,000 acre piece of state land with so much to do! Hiking, swimming, boating, equestrian, a nature center, and that's just scratching the surface!

Green Lake is the rustic campground on the east end of the area. No electricity, 3…

Nice, quiet campground

This is a smaller campground with some full timers or seasonal campers. We stayed a week and enjoyed our time there. We had lots of rain so we didn’t get outside as much as we wanted. The sites were grassy and mostly level. Trees added shade throughout. The laundry room was older but clean and less…

Pontiac Lake Rec RV Site

Booked a two week stay at Pontiac Lake Rec. area in Whitelak, MI. Huge sites not stacked on top of one another. They have electric hookups, but only 30 amp. No water or sewage at the camp site but available within the park. Grounds are kept very clean and it has been a rather quiet stay even in…

Beautiful beach and sites

We stopped here for a quick overnight trip on our long family trip. The site was large and easy to back into. We had a view of the lake which was beautiful. Bathhouse was clean.

It was full sun

We walked the beach in the morning and found a bunch of beach glass which the kids loved

Friendly Camping Community

Stayed at Camp Lord Willing in June 2021 and it was a peaceful friendly environment with seasonal and experienced campers.

  • Staff is awesome!

Clean, spacious, fairly private with lots of activity options

We've camped at Maumee Bay State Park twice and enjoyed it both times.  The campground is part of a larger resort complex that includes a hotel, marina, a nice beach on Lake Erie, a second beach on an inland lake, golf course, mowed hiking trails and - our favorite - about 5 miles of beautiful,…

Nice stop over night

Very very nice people. Sites are small but we were not here to hang out. Right off i80 with nice gas stations that are big enough to accommodate our rig. I’ve stayed here twice and I’d do it again.
