Small basic campground near Toledo

Our site was $59.95 a night.

We were in Site# 504. We had Full hook- up with a gravel pull-through.
We travel towing a 14 foot trailer and were able to fit both in our pull through site along with my jeep. The site was easy to level. We were charged $25 additional for my jeep since we were towing the trailer. We also were charged $10 because we arrived at 1:25 PM and check-in is at 2 PM. The park was close to empty so arriving early was not an inconvenience. We drove ourselves to our spot (no escort).

Our site was shaded with lots of trees. This was a smaller lot with our neighbors fairly close.

The lot comes with a concrete patio with picnic table and fire ring. They sell wood for $6 a bundle.

There is free WiFi, although not strong. They offer Cable TV and there are many channels.

There is not a community outdoor kitchen or community fire pit.

They pickup your garbage at your site daily before noon.

You are allowed to ride personal golf carts. They do not provide golf cart rentals. There is really not a need to have a Golf cart because it is a smaller campground.

They do have a Swimming pool but it is currently closed due to maintenance (although it just looked closed- no signs of maintenance being done).

There is a Playground. They also offer horseshoes, corn hole, giant jinga.

They have a basic general store. There are not scheduled activities for kids.

There is not a snack bar/restaurant on site.

The streets are gravel so not great for riding bikes. This is an RV park with tent camping and cabins to rent.

They have one shower house. The shower house has individual bathrooms with your own sink, shower, toilet. These are kept very clean.

There is a laundry facility. It is a cash only facility, but they have a change machine. There are approximately 4 washers and 4 dryers. It is approximately $2.50 to wash and $2.50 to dry a load.

They have a small fenced in dog park.

There isn’t tons to doin the actual city of Perryville. But Toledo is a 20 minute drive.

No frills but nice

Pretty in the trees/woods! Convenient location nearby downtown Perrysburg.

Small, poorly designed, very little gravel on sites.

If it rains your site becomes wet, soft and muddy and they will charge you for any vehicle ruts. Power posts are situated backwards and the water is on the same pole as the electric. Sites are too close together, so you have very little privacy.

Great for overnight stay

My wife and I stayed a this campground for only one night enroute to Michigan, driving a 32 foot RV.  We were assigned site 601 which is a pull-through site in the back row of the campground.  It was easily accessed and had adequate space for the RV and for a tarp or screen tent (which we did not deploy).  The staff were friendly and helpful and there was a swimming pool and a small playground and other amenities for children at the campground.  We would gladly stay there longer if we were visiting the area.

Ogre at nice hosts

A wooded campground that fit our 40 foot with tow nicely. All sites are Level, gravel, and shaded. Hosts are very welcoming. There are a ton trees over a very spots, so expect falling a tons in the fall. Road coming in was smaller, but not too tight. About 8 miles off From interstate. We were told they do close October 31st, however they leave electricity and dump station open for campers to use.

Rundown KOA

We were surprised to pull into this KOA after a long day of driving to find it very rundown. Pool is not functional. Not necessarily a big deal, but don’t advertise you have pool. Play area was falling down. Bathroom facilities were clean. Looks like they’re trying to make improvements. If you have no choice, this place is good enough.

Nice stop over

We stayed for 4 nights while visiting friends and family. There had been tons of rain and so it wasn’t as nice as I’m sure it is during normal weather. Lots of wet and muddy areas. BUT they were constantly filling these areas with gravel to help alleviate any problems and keep things from being all wet. We stayed in a pull thru site which we felt was a really nice size and was wishing the weather was better so we could enjoy some outside time. The bathhouse was nice, clean, and updated. The laundry had nice washers and dryers. 4 of each but a couple were out of order. The pool was not open, but not a big deal for us. There was a fenced dog area that was probably the driest spot in the campground. Our Labrador appreciated it as he was mot crazy about walking on gravel. I would definitely stay again when in the area.

Site66… I think.

Nice stop over night

Very very nice people. Sites are small but we were not here to hang out. Right off i80 with nice gas stations that are big enough to accommodate our rig. I’ve stayed here twice and I’d do it again.

Really great but the water had a funny smell

It was a great campsite. The staff was friendly, they pick up garbage, the bathroom was clean. However in the bathroom there was a weird smell almost like sewage and the smell was coming from the water.

Friendly and peaceful.

We were passing through on our way to Niagara Falls and stopped off to tent for the night. Family owned and operated. Owners are very friendly and the campground has nice amenities. Wooded sites accommodate the tenter all the way up to the class A.
