Rustic, quiet, secluded

If you like alligators, snakes, and other swamp critters, you will love it here. Secluded, with just 10 sites. Electric and water. Definitely bring leveling blocks, the sites are dirt and undeveloped. There's a boat dock as well. Be sure to have mosquitoe spray or they will tear you up! No store, no showers or toilets. There is a dump station. The small clear area is surrounded by swamp and woods. Our site was #6. Just ok. 15 dollars a night. The drive in was very bumpy and full of holes, so be careful.

Great wma campsite

Nice nature feel to the campgroud..its primitive but does offer potable water for cleaning equipment and such..had a great time camping here

Sweet campground

Camped in December, nobody else was there, score! Campground and bathrooms clean, quiet except the background highway noise. Lake was pretty, and small, able to walk all the way around the lake in about 20 minutes. Lots of day picnic tables and bbq grills on daytime use side of the lake. Small beach for playing.

Sign is down

The sign designating Saddle Bayou Campground fell into the ditch in early 2019. As of August 2019 it is still down, so if you are trying to find this campground for the first time, please note that there is no sign visible. Otherwise it is a nice primitive campground, no running water but dump toilets are available. No designated camp sites, just find a good spot and pitch your tent.

RANGER REVIEW:BANNER AND OAK T-SHIRT AT PARAGON CASINO RESORT RV PARK

PRODUCT REVIEW BANNER AND OAK T-SHIRT As a Ranger for The Dyrt, I get products to test from time to time - today I am testing a Banner and Oak T-shirt. https://bannerandoak.com/products/camp-navy?variant=441825624068&currency=USD&gclid=CjwKCAjwtO7qBRBQEiwAl5WC2_0XqYiJxOuate5OBrZoqMXBxOQJYNVPo5C4gRHVLoRXmsNnkAvO9BoCA78QAvD_BwE This shirt is fantastic! My husband is very tough on clothes, but after several washes, it still maintains it's size and shape! The shirt is super soft and held up well in the extreme heat of Louisiana summer. Thanks for the honor of trying this out, and I hope you all do as well! You won't be disappointed! CAMPGROUND REVIEW: PARAGON CASINO RESORT AND RV PARK When my sons suggested that we all go camping here, I was leary at first. I thought since it was a Casino that it would be all concrete and flashing lights. I am a woods and water type of girl so I really didn't want to go, but am glad I did! There was ample room for our camper which is 32 feet. Our site number 3, had full hookups and room for a couple of canapies. (Very little shade!) Also had a concrete picnic table and lots of space between campers. The kids were able to go swimming in the large outdoor pool. There's also one inside! There is a walking trail, golf course and of course, if you gamble the casino. If it rains there's also a movie theater. I didn't use the showers or laundry facilities but they had those provided, too.

Rolling on the river

This campground has gracious, hospitable staff. They have a nice camp store and a sitting area with coffee. The spots are laid out with a concrete pad and the grassy space of another camper size spot for a “yard”. During special events such as the balloon races, these grassy yards are filled with campers also and the spaces are much tighter. Almost all of the slots are pull throughs.

This is an awesome place to relax and enjoy!

Nearest Campground to Historic Natchez Mississippi.

As of 08/2018 this Campground is under New Management.  Many renovations have taken place and Many more are in progress.  We have Large, Level Tree Shaded lots.  Pads are concrete and easily accessible. Full Hook Ups and Great WiFi.  We are minutes from downtown Historical Natchez attractions and Southern Food.

MOSQUITO HEAVEN

This is a tiny place. Rugged, but a good place to bring your boat and fish. There is only 20 amp plug ins here, though I am told that they are upgrading soon. If you like to fish, you will see all kinds! Many gators floating around also! Don't forget the mosquito repellent, they are big enough to carry you away!

Quiet and relaxing

We stayed in a cabin, they were decently equipped kitchen wise, but be sure to bring your own dish soap, paper towels, etc. The back porches are screened in, and as close to simplistic as you will get staying in a cabin. You can fish around the lake, but I feel it would be better to have a boat to get to the better areas for fishing. Overall, a nice quiet retreat.

Fishing and Family Oriented.

Clean, family owned and operated fishing oriented lodge. RV sites behind the lodge, some semi permanent units there.

The lodge itself has several motel suite type accommodations plus a larger main lodge that can sleep in excess of 10 people. We attended a family reunion there and it was great.

If you like to fish from a dock, boat, canoe or kayak, and are looking for an overnight getaway, this is worth a try.
