(Great Value) that will be even better with age.

I don't know how long Cimarron Park has been around. But I get the feeling that it hasn't been long. Very nice, young rv park (Great Value) that will be even better with age. That said our brief over night stay was very nice. We arrived only an hour or so before sunset. There were only about 10…

Great overnight stay

Nice quiet place with covered picnic tables (a bit weathered) , pretty level grassy spots. ~8 - 30 amp (no 50 amp) w water... and some more primitive camp spots as well. We were the only ones there so it was a great stop for $10! Stayed May 2021 - was dry when we arrived, rained that night - no…

It doesn't look like Kansas

This was our last stop in our Tour de Kansas. The landscape felt more like the west than the flatlands of Kansas we had come to love. We pulled in on a Thurs. The campground was almost empty. Buy Friday afternoon, it was pretty full. By Sunday afternoon, we had it to our self again. We got a…

Great Surprise

Driving through Kansas and coming up on this park and it's views made it a great spot to stop at along the way. Able to pull up to campsites and park next to your tent area. Everything was clean and my spot was a nice wake up view looking across the lake. Only caught a catfish while there but still…

All the Comforts

This is a tiny (5 pull-thru slots) RV park run by the county in Montezuma, Kansas. Perfect for an overnight stay, it has 30 and 50 amp hookups, sewer and water. All for only $20/night. Each slot is a gravel drive with a concrete pad on the side that has a concrete picnic table. It’s right off…

Despite a broken motorcycle and random people showing up to fish, it was a lovely spot. The fishermen were innocuous and I highly recommend the primitive spots

Hidden oaiss

Nice state park hidden away in the middle of nowhere, great stop on the way to Colorado , internet service four bars, no air TV, camp sites are spaced apart, nice play grounds for kids, shower houses modern, nice and quiet

Simple grassy spot

Simply picked the first loops on the lake. if you want to swim I would suggest camping on the other side. I picked this spot because no one else was around I had the whole loop to myself. Which is what I was looking for. The other side had a lot more people. Maybe not the best place for tents a lot…

Great for the night

Needed a place to stop for the night with electric since it’s 95 in Kansas in July. This was right off 400 on our way out of Dodge City. $25 a night with water and electric. Small campground but has what we needed. Bonus it has a laundry mat. Second bonus there is a horse farm right behind the…

If your passing through and need hookups.

Very basic campground with full hookups. People living there in spartan campsites close together on a a grassy mound. Shower house needed attention and was very basic.

Nice campground across from lake

We pulled up on a Saturday afternoon and the park was packed. Thankfully we had reservations. We were in site 1 which is very private and spacious and just a skip across the road is the lake. By Sunday evening there was hardly anyone left so we felt like we had the whole park for the next couple…

Clean and Peaceful Space

First time here. Camped in Circle Drive in our Popup. Friendly staff, clean grounds and lots of trees. Lake isn't deep - could stand pretty far out. Small beach area but you can get in water anywhere. Dogs not allowed on beach anywhere. Had a great day kayaking and staying in water to keep cooled…

Great water sport stop.

If you play on the water, then this might just work for you. There were no water hook ups. There is power available but every site is shared so no privacy. They are under trees so shade was good. Sites are unimproved and very soft when wet. Folks are generally nice.
