Campground is great overall, with a walkable trail just past the showers, clean restrooms and easy to access sites. There are only 3 basic tent sites, making it hard to nab. #4 had a decent amount of privacy, however most other electric sites do not. As an electric site, there was not a lot of…

We only stay overnight and arrived late. We thought we had a site on the river but the site map is a little deceiving as the campground is a good, long hike to the river. Sites are very private, facilities are clean and it is super quiet.
This is a wonderful park. There are a lot of things to do and the sites are beautiful. This review is for the site at Hackberry Hollow. The sites are back-in sites with electrical hookups and water from a hydrant on the loop. The end of part of the loop is up the hill above the bathhouse that…

The park is huge and takes you along an hour long historic trail that has old settlements, ruins of workshops and beautiful view-points of the Missouri river from the bluff edges. It ends at the Indian cave (boardwalk/stairs to the cave are currently closed to all the visitors). You have neat…
Everything was a million times better than expected
It looks like the grounds were well traveled in it hay day, but today it lies desolate and not maintained. Definitely an experience for those who enjoy getting out of their comfort zone!

The power during the week randomly shuts off, the trash is not picked up from trash cans during week, bathrooms not cleaned during week, barely any cell service. BUT, as soon as Friday hits, the trash is collected multiple times a day, no power issues, and bathrooms are cleaned at least once a day.…
This is a nice place for an overnight stop. WiFi is good can stream! Good antenna reception owner is nice. Lots of full timers. Site 8 is nice would not want to spend a week though.
I really liked the stay here. The only thing I wish is added on is some lights because my lights weren't illuminating as well as I thought it would and we were cooking in the dark.
Perry State Park is well maintained and manicured park. The primitive sites and RV sites are extremely close (especially the RV sites) other than that they have dedicated hammock sites!
Large park over 3,000 acres, plenty of hiking trails to enjoy. I really didn't see any trails suitable for bicycling, if biking around RV sites its very hilly and hard to ride. Forget about wifi, hard to find if you can find it at all and no attena tv, your really out in the middle of nowhere, but…
It has been many years since I went to this park. We use to take my oldest here when he was little. We finally came back, and right off the bat, while entering the park we see 2 eagles soaring above. We drove through the park and wow what a ecological beauty. You get down in the valley by the…

Just car tent camped here with my fiancé and dog over the weekend. We had many camp sites to choose from because it’s back to school time in NE (timing, timing, timing)! Basic tent sights are first come, $15 a night. The park offered firewood ($6) and ice for sale. Lots of hiking trails with…
The trails in this area are open but you have to hike into all of them and the campground is still closed even though most other state parks are open. The sites are basic for tents but well laid. The trail system heads to an overlook and down to the river.
