We are living it. A great place Hills Access Campground. We have a great spot for our tent. The firepit & extra rack for charcoal coffee from the teapot. Quiet days and nights. Full or just a few if us. We love The Rangers Aaron and Charlie. You're the greatest. We've yet to go…

Family campground

This is a real family oriented campground. Although it is a primative campground, it allows for fishing, boating and a playground.

Full Hookup!!!

This is a great campground. Sites are pretty level and easy to get parked. Full hookup!!! There is a good sized lake that we have kayaked and swam in. The conservation officers are very nice and usually stop by to make sure everything is going great. They continue to improve the campground…

Revitalized lake beautiful campground

We ventured south to Geode State Park near Burlington, IA. We are getting the travel trailer tweeked in. We weathered a rainy 🌧 day Saturday (all day). There was enough room that it was not uncomfortable. We started having issues with our propane heater. So what do you do when camping and it has…

First weekend out

The campgrounds are very nice. They have clean bathrooms, a nicely stocked store, and a couple playgrounds. Thay also have an Eco Center with turtles, snakes, and an aquarium that our family really enjoyed. The grounds are on backwaters of the Mississippi so there are boat ramps, docks, and areas…

Quite ......except for the occasional trains. 🤔

It is a small camping area with the standard amenities. I like it because you can se the barge traffic on the river. I have camped here on more than several occasions.

Wooded walk-in tent sites

My son and I camped here several times circa 2005. Always a good time. You can walk through the forest to get to the injured raptor center with outdoor aviaries.

Off season parking

Nice beach walk and next to a small town. Came in December to find they close the campground for the season but there’s lots of small lots to park overnight.

A little crowded but very nice!

This park has two campgrounds. The modern side on the north end of the park with full hookups, and the primitive side on the south side of the park with no electricity or water hookups. Both campgrounds have flushing toilets but only the modern side has showers. All restroom facilities are very…

Spacious Outdoor Living

This campground is one of many around Coralville Lake. Reservations are a must. This campground is close to the dam and the Devonian Fossil Gorge.

Very well maintained

Very nice COE campground north of Iowa City in the Lake Coralville area. Beautiful setting, lots of options for sites. A recent wind storm had the area shut down for two weeks but they did a great job cleaning up downed trees and broken limbs. It was very quiet, lots of wildlife and amenities like…

Horrible place.

No sewer dump, can’t be hooked up to water. No bathrooms or shower houses. Not at all thrilled. Not enough room for 2 full size vehicles to park on pad. Have to park in a parking lot.
