Nice campground, clean, beautiful lake with bike path/walking trail around the entire lake. Not much to do in small town but fun for an overnight .

Great Place to Spend a Night or Two

As of 2021 the fee per night was $20.00. Almost all sites have electricity. Additionally there are running water restrooms and showers (both very clean). There is no fee for the showers. There are two small camping areas near the entrance and two larger areas on the far side of the lake.

We stayed…

Small quiet clean campground off gravel road in middle of farmland

No way to make day before reservations so we gambled and drove in. Van and bikes covered in fine white dust from road. Small lake but sites on hillside with no view. Clean bathrooms but noticed paid time showers were taped " out of order" morning of our departure so no showers for us. Very quiet…

Wonderful campground

This place was great. Nice setting close to I80 without highway noise. It is first come so is probably busy in summer. Bathhouse was so clean and nice. Stop by office first to see if there are sights available. First 2 campgrounds before office and one with pull through site. we were near the…

Comfortable and Convenient

Park has easy access from Highway. Nice mix pull-through and back-in sites. Pet friendly with large dog park and plenty of green space with mature trees.

Great place!

We stayed here just one night but it was exactly what we need. We were driving east out of central Colorado and wanted to get past Omaha to avoid traveling thru at rush hour. This is about 15 minutes east and just a couple minutes off of I80. Super quiet, nice spacious sites, and very clean.

Great little campground in a rural setting

This campground in Iowa is quite nice although not very private.  It costs $15 for camping with no electrical hook-up.  The views are great, and you can go dive in the little lake for a swim.

Another great stay here!

We’ve stayed here several times over the last few years and have always had great experiences. This is a little city park off of Hwy71 so there a little road noise but nothing too bad. The park itself is well maintained and has a ladies and men’s shower/restroom as well as a small pavilion and kids…

Nice and peaceful

Great spot for an overnight! Restroom is clean w/ pit toilet and tp. Wifi is only accessible in the upper area of the grounds. Site number 13 is the most cozy as there’s no one next to your rig. Firewood is at the right of the entrance. Potable water available!

Nice, quite area

This is a nice, quiet spot. Lots of trees. The sites are easy to access, and it was not full despite being a Friday in July. It is a good price for full hook up, restrooms and showers. Plus, collected fees go to local 4-H and FFA groups.

A Nice Park close to the City

Walnut Creek is a first come, first served camping area.  The park has different activities available to families.  There is a large paved path that goes all the way around the lake, while also connecting to the greater trail system  in the Omaha metro area.  There are singletrack trails available…

Nice City Park

Spent the weekend using one of the RV sites on the property. There were 30 AMP electric hookups at the sites. The sites were very spacious and allowed plenty of room. There was a water fill station and a dump station near the entrance to the park. You paid $15 per night for the site and used a…
