Campground with level pads, easy access and super friendly hosts. Spaces are large and open with nice balance of trees for shade.
Very nice campground, each sight has a fire ring and table, plus a lantern pole. It is in a city park like setting and on the lake. Fire wood for sale at the entrance, you have to get water at the entrance only electrical hook up. Showers are very clean and there is also a children’s play ground.
Very nice corp park. Campsites were spaced well apart with plenty of room on pad around campsites, cell service was four bars and air tv 30 channels
Marion County is often overlooked by people in favor of the various Red Rock campgrounds that are nearby, but in my opinion, unless you have a boat, there is nothing that puts Red Rock above Marion County. They have done a great job in recent years updating sites a few at a time, adding pavement…
I stayed at this campground from August until November 13 in my pull behind camper.
Water, gas and Sewer was $15 daily,$105 weekly, and$420 monthly. Prices go up to $120 weekly when it gets cold. Shower house was shut down for COVID and shuts down in winter.
Tenting is cheaper$11
No ground fires…
About 1.5 mile hike to camp, nice moderate hike with wide trails. Listened to deer rutting all night and coyotes howling. Can’t wait to go again!

This is a very large campground with lots of sites and large group camping areas. The bathrooms and shower house are nice and clean.
Very nice and quite location when I went mid September. Seems like a lot of trails to explore. Will go back again to explore more. Lots of hills.
We went to Prairie Flower for the first time last week and this is by far our favorite campground so far!
The whole campsite was paved and our site (#81) had a beautiful lake view. The whole park was the cleanest we have seen anywhere else. We will absolutely be back!
We stayed in the Elk Rock Equestrian campground and it was so peaceful and beautiful. The facilities were clean.
Thanks to feedback received on The Dyrt Forum, we discovered this campground close to our home. This is one of four CoE campgrounds around Saylorville Lake and likely the most popular, probably due to having direct beach access.
There are two campgrounds at Prairie Flower: North, which has…

Campground is well kept. Spaces are fairly close together, not much privacy. Remodeled bathroom/showers. Showers have no benches or hooks or anything. You have to pile your clean clothes on the floor, not even a hook to hang your towel. This is a great campground to stay at if you are visiting…
We happened upon this campground on our way out West. So glad we found it. The sites are all mostly concrete slabs, so it was easy to back in and set-up. Not sure if they allow campfires, though. Pool was nice, and also had a few arcade games in the pool house. The biggest draw for us was…

Very quiet but that will change once Adventureland opens. For as concerned about their grass as they are you would think the mowing crew would do a bit better
This is a great spot if you plan on staying in the area and want to go to Adventure Land or Prairie Meadows. There are lots of restaurants near by like Spectators and Jethro’s BBQ.
As far as the RV park goes it’s pretty busy, mostly small families and older folks. The lots aren’t very big and you…
