Not a big campground. Sites arranged in a circle around a clean shower house. Potable water. Only 2 non-electric sites. Most sites level. Sites are close to each other, not offering much in the way of privacy. Camped here on the off season, so it wasn't crowded. Short walk to nice lake & marsh.…
Went here after the spring floods with the RV. Sites are decent size. They have a a shelter and small playground. There is a spigot to fill your tanks and electric hook ups. The river is off a smaller dam and has great fishing. Kids had a great time playing in the water, our site was about 20 ft…

I was always hesitant to camp here with it being new with no mature trees. Surprisingly with it's location in relation to Hwy 20, it's actually pretty quiet. There is a paved trail that'll take you over to the lake so it's not a bad walk. Shower houses are clean and well maintained. The fire rings…
We camped here to try a new place (we try to pick one new place each year). We were a little underwhelemed when we first pulled in but that changed pretty quick. There weren't many other spots occupied, those that were looked fairly permanent. We had the RV and used the electric hookup. We found…
Sigglekow Campground in Black Hawk County Iowa is one of a kind! Quite and secluded, if that's what you're looking for. To get out and decompress it's a great spot. Has electric sites and also places to tent camp (my favorite kind 😁) right on the Wapsi River.

Perhaps it is just a season, but there were tremendous amount of mosquitoes at the campground during our visit. Lots of stagnant water, lake, etc. Reasonably priced, however, and close to Cedar Falls. The bathroom were a little sketchy and the noise from the highway was quite loud. OK stay for a…
We visited the resort over a long weekend and had an absolute blast. It really is a treat that the Root River Bike Trail System runs right along the campground. We spent most of our time exploring the trail, visiting Lanesboro and Whalen.
We'll maintained and roomy sites. A very quiet campground. No particular activities for families/children.
excellent place to escape and explore the Root River. Had almost entire campground to ourselves. Long weekend of camping. biking and kayaking along the scenic Root River. Wonderful camp store and kayak rentals with shuttle.

Overall a nice place. It was very wet, standing water in the grass from lots of rain. Spot 105. Not much room between sites there and had to back turn around and back down the road to park. Memorial wknd, they had a very nice pot luck lunch and pork chops on a stick, all free and great food. Shower…
Excellent camping for families. Nice playground and fishing. Mature shade trees. Short trip to town that can be biked. Will definitely be staying again.
For a campground that’s not too far out of the way, you feel so secluded and hidden away in the woods. Its quiet and really easy to get some solitude.

This is a nice little campground, but it’s location (although convenient) right off the freeway is less than ideal. The background noise isn’t terrible but it’s always there. I like to camp away from civilization not next to a freeway.
Great camping for tent. Bike trails and good trout fishing. You can acess the whole city of Decorah and all the scenic places by walking or bikes. Clean showers and bathrooms, large playground, internet at the front building incase you need to work.
Beeds Lake campground offers an opportunity to camp by a picturesque lake with a beautiful waterfall.
There are many campsites to choose from. My only negative point for Beeds Lake is that the campground is very "campgroundy". Many of the RV sites are very close together, which is the norm in…
