Full Hookups at Small 12 Site RV Park

Looking for electric site around Pocatello, ID due to extreme heat. Easily made a few day reservation for one of their 12 Pull Through, FHU sites. Adjacent to a large RV & Boat storage facility on one side and open area on the other. Turned out to be a good site to explore the local area for a…

Weak Electricity

Staff and grounds were amazing. Pool was perfect for kids. However, on a super hot week site A1 was not strong enough to get our AC running. We were so hot at night in our camper. 😕. Asked staff about it and they said they were aware and repairing it was going to be very costly but they really…

Beautiful campground

The Lava Campground is very clean and is set in a little valley with beautiful mountains up close. The fire pits are great. The bathrooms and showers are super clean. They have the cutest retro campers you can stay in too! It’s within walking distance of the town. Great place to stay!

Beautiful, quiet and clean

I arrived on a thursday around noon and had just a couple spots to choose from. The newer spots near the entrance are pretty level and have spectacular views of Mormon Canyon. The lower spots look nice and shady and there are a few that can accommodate a trailer. The vault toilets were very clean,…

Way too expensive

56 bucks for one night and it’s not that nice looking but it’s there and has hookups.

Great spot with close interstate access

A great camping spot if you can get closer to the river. The south end of the camp butts up with the interstate and can be quite noisy. Walking trails around the camp and along the river. Overall a fun spot.

Beautiful campsite but at a cost

The place was perfect for me to camp one night and the people are really nice that work there. However bug spray is necessary and late at night a lot of homeless roam around the camp. There is also a train depot across from the park that is very loud.

When you check out the website make sure you read the whole thing, the guy is hilarious, had my girl and I laughing the whole time, dogs had a blast were able to run around the whole time with out leash,.…

Good for a quick stay

Campsites are a little close with no privacy and there are no sewer connections at the individual sites. There are two dump sites on the backside of the store. Pretty much gravel throughout with some grass at the smaller sites. Amenities: kids playground area with grass, a small fenced dog park,…

RV Park

The park is attached to the local fair grounds. The sites are on plush thick grass. Very nice bath house. Each site has power and water. There is a dump station near by. The only negative is that the center row sites are very close to each other. $25.

Lots of dispersed camping options

We needed a spot to spend the night on our way back to Montana. Our timing worked out for the Idaho Falls area and Wolverine Canyon came up as an option. It’s all paved road until you get to the mouth of the Canyon, then it’s a well maintained gravel road. A few washboard spots but easy to tow a…

Family Friendly and great environment!

Only complaint is all the cotton falling over everywhere from the cottonwood trees. I know they can’t help that but…
