Hidden Gem

Just a short drive outside of Thompson Fall, is this hidden gem. Tucked in the pines, you will find generously spaced sites, beautifully maintained grounds and wonderful hosts. The entrance is off Blue Slide Rd. You have a quick access to the Clark Fork River for fishing and kayaking. Just a…

On a hill overlooking the river

There is a Motel, Casino, Lounge. Dining, Bowling AND an RV Park here. Unfortunately, due worker shortage. most were closed. But, a small herd of deer welcomed us at the entrance. That was cool.. The RV park is up the hill to the left of everything else. Once in the RV section, you don't see…

Beautiful area.

First. I have to say, if you can, visit when the Flathead Lake Cherries are in season. Omg! The BEST cherries I have ever had. Exiting at St. Regis, I had to stop to get. I think I ate an entire pint before I even got to the campground. Lol. Anyway, as others have said, this CG is really…

8 miles in and worth it!

We like the more remote and peaceful campgrounds. We took a chance and got off the i-90 at cataldo and drove 8 miles into the woods. The road started out paved then went to a nice gravel road in the last 2 miles were pretty bumpy. Then we arrived at lost moose campground. Peaceful and in the woods.…

Cool car camp spot

It’s an old KOA that got brought back to life by a new business. Cool car/tent spots. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful area, campsites can be crowded

The surrounding area is beautiful with lots of hikes to go on that have beautiful views. The campsite area was clean including bathroom and showers. Water and electric hook-up all worked great (reserveamerica says site 49 does not have water but it does).

Site 49 is on the inside of the loop…

Okay in a pinch, a bit sketchy for a solo camper

I found this free spot on another free campsites app. It’s right next to a National Forest boat launch, where there are 2 pit toilets. The campgrounds themselves are dispersed, with already human made fire rings. Some sites are next to the water (those were taken), I ended up driving to see what’s…

Great family campground

Great place to stay if your in the St. Regis area. You don’t have to leave the campground if you don’t want to with tons of great activities. Bathrooms were good, showers could use some work but they were clean and had hot water. Tree sites 7 and 8 would be our preferred sites. Larger rigs look at…

Great, Quite, Remote

The fish will be small, just a couple of bank fishing options.

The sites are big and it sees little use, mostly locals.

6 miles from camp, on Two Tree point, you'll find strong cell service.

Good huckleberry picking along the way there.

It is a no fee campground.

RV park, brewery and restaurant. Oh my!

What a fun place. Yes. It is right on the road. Yes, there are ATVs driving by. However, the fun we experienced during our 4 days there, far overshadowed those little things. First, an RV park AND Brewery AND restaurant! What? That's right! You heard me. And it's really really good beer and…

Unplugged next to a crystal clear river

The campground is outside of town nestled in tall pines, next to a crystal clear mountain river. When we stayed, wildfires were burning due East from the town. The smoke didn't impact respiratory system much thanks to the blowing winds. Yes, there are trains close by, but earplugs and/or white…

So much to do. So little time

As others have sad, it is close to the interstate, but most campgrounds are and it really was OK. White noise is soothing after all. The park is nice. Well maintained. Clean. Super nice hosts. Big rig friendly. Tenting OK. What makes this a super choice is it is close to:
