Very secluded!

There are vault toilets accross the river, otherwise digging your own holes is your best alternative, no running water other than a river. If you have means to filter water, no problem. Trails are well maintained, beautiful hikes!

Frequently Asked Questions

What amenities are available at Timber Creek Campground in Idaho?

Timber Creek Campground offers basic, rustic amenities. The campground has vault toilets located across the river. There is no running water available except for the river itself, so campers need to bring their own water supply or have filtration systems to use the river water. No electricity or shower facilities are available. The area does feature well-maintained hiking trails for recreational activities. This is a primitive camping experience focused on natural surroundings rather than developed facilities.

How do I make reservations for Timber Creek Campground in Idaho?

Timber Creek Campground appears to operate on a first-come, first-served basis without a formal reservation system. For the most current reservation information, contact the managing agency (likely the Forest Service or Bureau of Land Management) that oversees the campground. Since this is a more primitive camping area, it may not participate in recreation.gov or other online reservation systems. Plan ahead during peak seasons as availability cannot be guaranteed without reservations.

Where is Timber Creek Campground located in Idaho?

Timber Creek Campground is located in Idaho near Timber Creek Reservoir. The campground sits by a river in a scenic mountain setting with maintained hiking trails nearby. The exact location is in a more remote area of Idaho, so it's advisable to check with the managing agency (likely Forest Service or BLM) for specific directions before your trip. The natural setting offers beautiful hiking opportunities and riverside camping.
