Lovely, clean and friendly

This place is spotless and well-cared for.

We are car camping in a Tesla and the destination charge gave us the oomph to go up to Jackson WY the more scenic way via Soda Springs . We were the only guests (weekday after the kids are back in school=quiet time.) Got some road tips and local history…

Great place to stay!!

This campground was an great place to stay while in Lava Hotsprings. It's a two minute drive to the Hotsprings, which are amazing. The campground is clean and very well maintained. Cleanest shower houses and bathrooms we have seen at a campground in a long time! The camp hosts are friendly and the…

Beautiful grounds

This is a large campground that feels private. We were in loop D, no generators allowed with electrical hookups. We had great views but not of the Tetons. Moose frequent that area and was fun to admire (from a distance). Biking in and near the campground is fun. Bathrooms are plenty and clean.…

Went there as a home base to explore the grand Tetons. The host volunteers were awesome. Very booked for September but never felt crowded Bathrooms clean. Moose near our site every morning

Pretty and close to town

This used to be open camping in a field but they have recently fenced it in, leaving just 8 camping spots, fairly close together. This is a popular place with full-time nomads. We came on a Thursday morning in late September and there were only two spots left. The river is beautiful, and only…

Remote Spot For a Night

We were happy to find somewhere relatively remote on our trip to Tetons/Yellowstone. Campsites were approximately 3 miles in off of the highway on a wide gravel road, drivable in our F450 with triple slide truck camper. We camped right off the main road before the bridge but saw more campsites…

Great campground that's an amazing deal!

Found this spot recently that had full hookups on most sites. Located just above a lake. They have bathrooms with showers. Loop A is reservations only loops B and C are first come first serve. Loop A has a mixture of 30 and a few 50 amp spots with sewer and water. Water pressure is good around 60…

Lava hot springs

The Lava pools are amazing and the town is very charming and walkable options. They have canoeing, rubber tubes, evokes, vespas and four wheelers available. The campsite is very kids friendly during summer months.

Very nice and Quiet!

What a great park!! The peace and quiet of being away from any city is well worth the drive out here! Bob, the camp host, is very friendly, courteous and helpful! Made us feel very welcome to be here! Lot's of trees/bushes for some shade. Plus the benefit of having the lake is a bonus! The only…

Below average for a KOA

Boasts some creek side sites. Sites are very close together, water pressure is not great. Lot of roadside noise. The creek has a nice flow. Site was pretty level, great cell service through Verizon. WiFi sucks. Very “rustic” looking campground. It was OK for one night but I wouldn’t want to stay…

Plenty of room

Quiet and beautiful. The water was low when we arrived, but we could see the water from our spot. We picked an area up in the tall grass, but several people including large trailers were set up on the shore. There are so many spots to set up here that you can really enjoy a quiet evening.

All by yourself along the road.

We stayed in the campsite overlooking the lake and accross the road. There are about 7 campsites all with metal pole building type shelters and picnic tables. Each site also provides a fire ring. One of the downsides to the campground is the proximity to the road. There was a number of loud…

Beautiful small campground

Really pretty campground. Right on the river, within walking distance from the hot springs and downtown area. Sites are all pull in or back in- which was fine even in our 36ft Class A. The sites are tight, but we were sharing the next site with family so it was fine. Lots of rules but easy to…
