    Teton Valley Resort

    Nice place, poor park design

    The rv park is designed so that the guests with the biggest, fanciest rvs are close to the restroom/shower/laundry and those are the rigs most likely to have those facilities in their units. Smaller spaces for smaller rigs, which are more likely to rely on those facilities, are located furthest away. There is room and need for a bathroom/shower house closer to the camper van/class C section, with or without a second laundry area. Breakfast is included and has several hot & cold self-serve options. Coffee tasted better than expected! The seating area is quite small with most tables being shared where there was an open spot. Camp hosts are friendly, visible, welcoming and seem to be constantly working on upkeep and interacting with guests. I met 3 different hosts who expressed pride in their work to provide clean and well-maintained facilities.. WiFi is available but unreliable-the park info states as much-so be aware and prepared. My visit was 6 days long and there was wind every day, at times quite gusty. The only shade is from your own or your neighbor’s rv.

    Boise Riverside RV Park

    Convenient to the city, but that's about it.

    I stayed in the tent camping area which is also basically the dog run. You park in the lot then walk across a short bridge to a small lawn area with picnic tables to set up your tent. The RV area is really just a giant parking lot with RVs lined up side by side, nothing special. The bathrooms were being renovated, might be nicer in a few months.

    Indian Rocks - Dispersed Camping

    Convenient for overnight stay

    Great free spot for visiting nearby Lava Hot Springs. Be sure to approach from the south (McCammon freeway exit) - The road is nicely maintained up to the campground but horrible continuing north.

    Cauldron Linn BLM Dispersed

    Quiet dispersed camp spot

    We were able to park our truck and camper at an upper spot. The first part of the road down to the beach was very rocky and lots of ruts, but once past that the road is smooth. We didn’t take our trailer down there, but were able to drive our Nissan Frontier down and enjoy the river. Was nice to hang by the water with the dog! No shade at upper sites, but there was shade down at some lower sites by the river.

    Great place to stay!

    We have a 31 foot RV and had no trouble getting in or out of a camp site. Well maintained road and they just added bathrooms. They are also extending the number of camping spots. We found one that was a pull through right by the brook.

    Cottonwood Recreation Site

    Really nice campground!

    Really nice sites. Lots of room. Two middle sites are pull through and could handle large RV. Very clean and the Salmon river was nice. Dump station works and water at sites. Lots of trees and shade.
