We stayed one night. Really enjoyed the area. The river close by and all the beautiful trees, flowers and plants. Will definitely stay again.
My husband and I have been camping at Oak Bottom campgrounds for the last 30 years and he has been camping here with his family since he was a kid himself. It has been the highlight of our year for decades! It takes a year in advance to book a shoreline site. The best site is SC14 because it has…

No wifi. Almost no phone signal too. Full hookups but sewer line has to go uphill. Nice lady. No reservations. No credit cards. Checks or cash. Right next to Hwy 101.
The staff there were so accommodating and very helpful very clean and quiet definitely would stay here agian.
Nice huge site with basically your own valued bathroom one other campsite shares. Perfect for dry camping with your rv if you want some extra quiet and privacy you could rent both sites at $20ea.
Stayed a few nights staff was a bit uptight for my taste but the grounds are well kept loved the Parkside setting on the river
Loved listening to the creek while falling asleep, lots of shade and the staff was friendly. Sites are nicely spread apart #8 #9 being the best that were open. not rv accessible tent sites
Direct river access, many good sites, full bathrooms, available water, easy to get to and quiet. Also an awesome camp host (Shawnee) who is the perfect mix of knowledgeable and helpful while giving campers space.
Quiet during the week, full on weekends. 24 sites, most are on the main loop…
Pros: huge sites with grass and trees. Big enough for the largest RV’s.
Cons: no river access and a naked guy sitting on a bluff.
We were so happy we were able to snag a few spots here on July 4th weekend 2020! We had never been to the area and were nervous that the sites were only first come, first serve. We downloaded our map just in case we lost service, and we were so happy we did. We lost service and started down the…

I have stayed here several times as a waypoint on my travels between California to Washington. It is a nice safe quiet park that has many pull through spaces for RVs spending the night. I have used their website to reserve a space and then pick up the paperwork outside the door of their office.…
Great overnight stop. Surprisingly quiet! Level pull-thru sites, full hook-ups. $40, well worth the price when temps are 90+ and need your a/c.
After finding out our original planned spot was closed (Hells gate) we decided to keep on going and see what was available. We stumbled on this and boy I’m so happy. The lake was perfect! There were people there but it wasn’t over filled. The spots weren’t super level so this campground was better…

The campsite/campground were well maintained the restrooms were decent. The price wasn’t bad at all for dry camping. Only downfall it was really hot!
