GuideI don’t have much to add on top of the other reviews besides that this place was extremely crowded when I went in the middle of May. I was unable to find a site in the actual camping area and had to settle for a non-designated spot down the road. The sites are also pretty close together, so it isn’t the most private place in the world.
Still a beautiful and convenient area for dispersed camping if you can find a spot, but I recommend having a decent back-up plan if you want to camp here.
GuideA good spot if you want to fish the Sevier River. Just walk down the hill. Three spots for camping. Easy to drive in. Not for big rigs or trailers, though. Clean and reasonably flat. Fire rings but not sure fires are allowed.
GuideI saw a few spots at the marker but in driving further to find a turnaround spot for my long van I found a few other spots. Found an open space with rock fire spots and was great. Super quiet and was outside burn restriction areas so we had a good fire.

TravelerI had an amazing time here, and I’m sad I only stayed one night. So serene, so quiet. Great spot with an easy drive to Zion National Park. Only 2 other campers nearby and everyone kept respectful distance for privacy. I parked up on a high-ground area and woke up to a beautiful view. Road coming in (before hitting gravel) is ROUGH. Was previously paved, now has a million potholes, so just drive slowly, and weeeeeave. If my minivan could make it out there just fine, I’m sure you can too! Enjoy the solitude.
TravelerTruly such a sick spot. Road is decent, pockets of deeper sand in certain areas, but nothing my minivan couldn’t handle. I drove about a half mile in on Hog Canyon Rd and got an amazing spot in a little grotto/canyon. It was beautiful. Everybody that went by on ATV’s were pretty chill (quite noisy, but I was there on a Friday & Saturday). My misfortune came truly at nobodies fault but my own. I had seen another couple hang their hammocks up to save their spot as they went to town to explore. So I did the same with my camping chair & mini table. Should’ve known better, but just a couple hours passed, and my things were stolen from my site…I was very sad & mad. Didn’t feel comfortable staying another night so I left. It is what it is. Don’t be silly like me. Keep your stuff tight, and you’ll likely really love this spot.

The RV site was level and the gravel drive made access pretty smooth. It was secluded and private, surrounded by trees and deer in the evening, but close enough to Duck Creek Village that we could grab a pizza or a coffee when we felt like exploring. We will definitely be back!
