Kings Creek is a favorite of ATV enthusiasts because of its easy access to a large network of trails. The Fremont ATV trail passes within 1/4 mile of the campground and the Great Western Trail is nearby. Hiking and mountain biking trails are plentiful as well, with access from various points within the campground. Tropic Reservoir offers boating, canoeing and fishing for brook, rainbow, brown and cutthroat trout. A boat ramp is within 1/2-mile of the the campground. The East Fork Sevier River is nearby with good fishing opportunities.

Facilities

The campground offers two group sites, which can be reserved separately or together. The group area is isolated from the main campground and provides privacy for gatherings and events. All individual sites are managed on a first come, first served basis. A large covered pavilion with picnic tables is also included with the group site to provide shade and cover from the weather. Flush toilets and drinking water are provided. The campground and reservoir are reached via a well-maintained gravel road with good access for cars and RVs alike.

Nice CG, ugly lake

Kings Creek CG is a very nice facility nestled uphill from an ugly drawn down reservoir. The CG has 38 sites ($19/$9.50 senior) all FF no reservations. Nice toilets, tables, fire rings, and water spigots scattered around. Lots of nice shady sites is a plus. However no dumpsters and absolutely no cell signal or wifi network. Host onsite and a big plus is the RV dump. Only 4 stares as negs are 7 miles of the worst dusty road, no cell signal and an ugly lake. Go to Pine lake above Bryce if you want all the best and more.

Very nice group facility

This group area is at a different location from the main Kings Creek Cg. There are two group areas, group A and B. Group B is only tent campers no trailers (RVs?) allowed. Very nice toilets, tables, camping areas. Water spigots scattered around, however no trash dumpsters but there are public dumpsters on main road out just before Hwy 12. Reservation only. No cell signal.
