Nice RV park and town

Henrie's Hitch n Post is a nice campground. They are currently updating the park with concrete pads, more spaces, and new amenities. The laundry room is clean. The bathrooms and showers are new! They hold a weekly bon fire, and offer morning coffee (sometimes with baked treats!) There is a dog park, horseshoe and cornhole courts. The beginning of June is the town's quilt walk. The end of June is the Balloon Festival. We will be back!!!

Hitch N Post RV

This is a very nice place to stay. Clean and quiet in this little town. Our Allegro Bus fit perfect with towing a Jeep. There is gravel but all the sites are level. There are new owners and very nice staff. There's a cute little souvenir store. The town is about 20 miles or so from Bryce Canyon, which actually perfect if you stay here. We would come back and stay here!

Family place

I pulled in around 5:30pm local time and there were 5 spaces left. I did end up near the bathroom but I don’t really care about that. Camp ground staff was pleasant and helpful. Women’s bathroom/showers are to die for and well worth spending the $40 for the night. (I am only hooked up to electric). Grounds are gravel not dirt. Laundry room here too if you need it. It is right on the main road but very quiet at night. I had no trouble sleeping.

Excellent for my 60 feet without unhooking cargo trailer

Best grounds for my big rig around. Rode my Goldwing to Bryce Canyon and explored every park around and this is #1 for big rigs. Grounds are well kept. Bathrooms and Laundry are clean. Management is superior and I paid $45 a night. Would stay here anytime. Lots of 40+ foot nice rigs here.

Good spot for exploring

I typically rate campgrounds as they fit into 1 of 5 categories. This campground will be rated as a Basecamp — grounds that offer a comfortable home base that you’re happy to return to after a day of exploring the surrounding area. Ratings for this category are based on: Value to cost: 4 Overall grounds: 4 Utility of sites (hookups, layout, accessibility): 4 Local Attraction Proximity: 5 Reservation Process/Ease of Getting a Site: 5 Amenities: 4 Customer Service: 5 Cleanliness: 4

Panguitch is a small, quiet town right along Route 89. The area is flanked by cool stuff... Bryce Canyon National Park, Cedar Breaks National Monument, Red Canyon, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Escalante-Grand Staircase, Scenic Byway 12, and a whole lot more. Hitch N Post offered a great basecamp for all these areas.

The sites are basic and level with reliable hookups. You get a picnic table but it may be incredibly close to your neighbors slide out as the spaces are very close together with no buffer or privacy. Super basic layout but easy enough to navigate to.

Acquiring reservations and checking in was easy, though they were at full capacity almost the entire duration of our stay. The woman that checked us in (I believe she was the owner) was very nice and spent about 20 minutes with me going over local maps and things to do in the area with lots of personal tips. We took advantage of a lot of her recommendations.

The laundry room was very clean but closes at 7pm daily which was surprising because their map/checkin packet says it’s 24 hours. Our laundry actually got locked inside as it was still drying at 6:50pm. They must have locked it up early (oddly bc there was still clearly 3 dryers still running). We had to track down someone with their posted phone numbers as they closed the office too. No big deal, but just be aware these forms are inaccurate.

At $37/night, it’s a very affordable spot for such great proximity in the area. There is an area for tents, but this is really an RV park. They have a shared fire pit area and open fires at the sites are not allowed. Also, wifi was unusable, but no real surprise there. Worth it for all the cool stuff nearby. Make sure you do not skip Red Canyon on your way to Bryce. It’s awesome and has tons of fairly easy hikes with huge payoff.

Right in Town

The most helpful staff, Randy I think was his name and he was great! It was late and we needed a spot for the night, he fit us into a pull-thru which was easy in and out. Utilities conveniently located and easy to use. Sites were a bit tight but workable. Your right in town so things are convenient for groceries and the like.  Satellite was easy and fast. No picnic table or fire ring here. Restroom clean but old. We were in a site right next to road, but not to bad noice wise.
