Very bad hilly and winding roads. Really not suitable for a 38 foot motorhome. Small campground sign, with a name of a development on! Very confusing. They even admitted it. Tight fit on our site, with huge drop off. Beautiful site with large deck, but extremely worrisome in and out.
Spectacular views and lots of places to explore in the Cherokee National Forest.
We checked out the Ocoee Whitewater Center, Mac Point Beach, Clemmers Trailhead, went whitewater rafting and floated down the river behind the campsite.
Would love to visit again and check out more of the many…

We stayed here for three nights and loved it! Beautiful location in the Appalachians with trails and streams all around. Lots of fine back country drives too; up to the Albert Mtn lookout on the AT and lovely waterfalls. Nice quiet campsites, we got lucky with site #78 and hope to return.
Very nice campground. Large sites and very well kept grounds
We camped here over the weekend. The campground is not very big, so the sites are not super private. Each spot has a firepit, lantern pol, and a picnic table and bench. We camped at site #50. It was pretty close to the road but we were not bothered by the traffic. The tents needed to be set up on…

While our site was not private, we felt like there was plenty of space. We were close to the creek and restrooms. We really enjoyed driving Cades Cove Loop, but plan on several hours to complete it. The hikes in the area are beautiful.
This area of NC was one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever been. The campground was rustic, but absolutely gorgeous, right beside Fontana Dam. Trout fishing here is top notch. We camped in the overlander tent here. Bath house was rustic but clean and fit our needs. There are a ton of wild…
Our spot 65 was level with a view of lake but not on the water.
Very exciting ride up the mountain to the campground, very nice site built up onthe side of the of the mountain. Lots of trails to walk go to the lodge and the falls.Very pretty scenery and awesome sunsets
For anyone who’s never camped at this location, the campsites are located in a few places (keep reading) which isn’t listed on the map by the (vault) toilets, no running water other than the creek, and NO CELL SERVICE.
Upon turning off the main road into the Raven Cliff Falls area there’s a trail…
We love this campground. Beautiful scenery. Facilities are almost always clean. The sites are nice and pretty good sized.

Cades Cove was amazing. Our only regret was we were only able to stay one night. The 11 mile loop was a great little drive. We found it to be a very clean campground with close access to all the trails. Waterfalls you can play in, and every amenity I could imagine.
The lake was mostly clean, the trails were easy to navigate, honestly the whole grounds were. The drive up was beautiful and long and easy to make our way around. Be very mindful of what snakes are in the area, they are everywhere but all the ones we came across were harmlesssss. You do have to…
Nice sites with hiking and lake scenery.

It has running water, place to wash dishes, a couple pretty large bear boxes (I’m assuming for everyone to share) and bear proof trash. I loved the place, and that’s from someone who hates humidity and bugs and this place is littered with both. But it is quite beautiful.
It’s along the creek and…
