Welcome to a truly unique stay in the foothills of the Cherokee National Forest. Our property is not a basic campsite and not simply a place to sleep. This is a luxury tent resort experience, intentionally designed for guests who appreciate comfort, atmosphere, and thoughtful amenities — all while enjoying the simplicity of off‑grid living.

🏕️ The Tents (Two Sites Available)
Each of our canvas wall tents is 12 × 10 and furnished like a boutique cabin — only wrapped in canvas and surrounded by nature.
Inside each tent, you’ll find:
- A queen‑size bed with a plush Serta mattress
- Two bedside tables. Both tents have an extra cot inside, with a private toilet for those nighttime visits.
- Kerosene lamps for a warm ambiance
- Battery‑powered lamps for convenience

- Fields of the Woods — about 5 miles into NC. Turn right off of McFarland Road, then turn left at the post office, go straight till you come to a sign on the right into NC.
- Cherokee National Forest — right at your doorstep, go up the mountains to Cheokee National Forest. Turn right out of my driveway.

Step 2: Turn onto McFarland Road** Depending on your direction of travel, you will turn **right or left** onto McFarland Road. Once You Are on McFarland Road** This is the part guests need the most clarity on. Go straight for approximately 1/4 mile.** You will see a **black mailbox on the LEFT** with **225** on it and a **light pole beside it**. That is **My driveway**. mportant:** If you accidentally drive **all the way to the end of the paved road**, you have gone too far. Turn around and come back to the **first road on the RIGHT** — that is McFarland Road again. Landmarks on McFarland Road (So Guests Don’t Miss It)** As you travel down McFarland Road: - You will pass **two driveways on the right** - You will pass **one driveway on the left** After you pass that **left driveway**, the road curves slightly. Look to the LEFT after the small curve.** You will see: - The **black mailbox** with **225** - A **light pole** - The driveway directly **across from another driveway on the right** - The **tents visible on the right side** of the road My driveway is **on the left**, directly across from that right‑side driveway.
