Whether you are hiking one of the 600 miles of trails in the Nantahala National Forest, cruising the twisty curves of the Tail of the Dragon, boating on Lake Santeethah, riding the Great Smoky Mountains Railroad, or rafting the Nantahala River… we are close by.
Our convenient location makes Hidden Waters an ideal basecamp to set out for daily excursions. Or, just enjoy the day fishing for trout in our creeks, hiking our mountain, or sitting by your campfire. GuideNice little campground
This is a beautiful little campground! Carter was extremely accommodating & made sure I had everything I needed. I only stayed one night so I could get to Deals Gap nice & early but I will definitely be back for a longer stay. If tent camping I would recommend a free standing tent and a good quality sleeping pad. The pads are nice & level but the ground was difficult to get steaks anchored into & the rocks feel like rocks without a good pad in your tent. The sounds of the running water from the creek was extremely relaxing and I slept great. The campground is very quiet and serene.
