Candy Mountain Goat Farm

Closed For the Season

This campground is closed for the season from December 1, 2024 through April 30, 2025.

Candy Mountain Goat Farm is located near the rolling terrain of North Carolina. The area experiences temperatures ranging from the 30s in winter to the 80s in summer. Nearby attractions include the scenic Hiwassee River and the Cherokee National Forest, offering opportunities for outdoor activities.

Description

Our six-acre solar-powered goat farm is a quiet and peaceful slice of paradise away from the chaos and noise but close to so many places to adventure.

Feed and play with the goats, picnic along our grass-covered brook, hang out around the large fire pit and rejuvenate while being close to the many Smoky and Blue Ridge Mountain activities.

Play with our kids! Goat birthing all summer. Hold and play with our newborns.

We have two custom-built Vanlife/RV pads and four grass tent locations overlooking a small brook in a cleared park-like setting.

Internet is provided by Starlink BUSINESS - high speed, low latency, FAST uploading speeds (20mb+), and great for remote workers. Starlink also provides your WIFI calling on mobile devices.

Nearby are numerous hiking trails, lakes, waterfalls, and other outdoor activities such as tubing, white water rafting, and boating. If you just want to chill, you can check out a local swimming hole.

Play with the kids

This is our second year providing a unique experience for those who choose a different path.

You'll be greeted by friendly owners who will get you into a site quickly, give a brief farm tour, and allow plenty of time to play with goats, ride a small zipline, relax by a bonfire, and even provide outdoor movies by request.

There are three bathrooms on the property (all plumbed) and a shower for guests.

Pets are allowed and off-leash if trained.

If heading through the Blue Ridge mountains, hiking, biking, rafting, and you need a nice place to sleep and recover, this is the place.
