This is a great little place right off of the highway. Facilities are clean and well maintained. There is a nice little playground for the kids. Staff was friendly and helpful. It is close to the Porter Sculpture Park which is also an amazing place to visit If you stop here.
Beautiful lil place with lots of scenery to look at, only a few rv spots, but a lot of nice tent spots. Might not be the greatest for kids under 5 , due to all the cliffs, but other than that we loved it!!
Excellent campground. Nice facilities and well maintained.
Great area! Clean campground! Bathrooms well tended. Lake area is busy. Campsite I initially reserved was not suitable for a tent…the only flat area was right on top of the neighbor’s fire pit. We were able to move, and found a site suitable for a tent! Staff very friendly. Lots and lots of flies!…
Easy to find, just six miles off I-90 in quiet Montrose SD. Plenty of 30 and 50 amp sites. Almost empty on a Monday night. Town pool across the street. Take a walk up the creek to see a spooky old playground across the water.
Im not sure why everyone is glossing over the train noise...they dont just pass, they blow a LOUD horn right as they go by. It happened multiple times throughout the night, felt like every hour. It would wake even the heaviest sleeper. Hard pass on this spot if you want to sleep.
Also, there is…

It was okay for an overnight, The sites are nice, plenty of shade. It was crowded the night I was there but quiet. It's a strange place in that it is on the edge of suburbia, located right next to an apartment housing development. If you like proximity to services, restaurants, etc. It would be a…
Well maintained sites. Pretty lake, with swimming and non motorized water fun.
Stopped here on our way back from the badlands heading to Indiana. Quiet place with nice bike and walking paths. Electric only 30amp water close by. Full dump station.

Beautiful campground! The showers were the cleanest I have ever seen. Hot water and flushing toilets were nice. Campsites had fire rings and picnic tables. Our site was level and easy to drive into. My only complaint is with finding the climbing areas for recreation. That was a bit of a pain, but…
If you need a quick night stop right off the interstate or a couple of days to explore the city this is a perfect location. Clean bathrooms, nice pool, friendly staff, and roomy camp areas.
This place is beautiful and well maintained. Excellent bathrooms and showers. Only downside is that the dump station is stinky. The hiking and biking trails are gorgeous!
This campground is right off I90. Coming off the exit, GPS wants you to make a u-turn to get to the property on the other side of the road. Not easy with toad! This campground has 2 sides, one is literally a parking lot, and the other is beautifully tree lined. They have full hook ups and a mix…
