This place could have been halfway decent if the people running it showed the slightest bit of interest. The campsites are mostly good. The bathrooms need to be clean and they rarely were, especially when two of the three stalls were covered in vomit. The staff is astoundingly rude, and I’m told…
The park is very pretty, but the little store to buy firewood and ice is only open on the weekends now. This park is not far from gas stations and restaurants, so it's easy enough to get anything you need!
We visited the day use area but drove through the campground for future reference. The campground offers a lot of sites (189 sites). 148 sites have electric and water. Some sites are monthly rental only. They also offer seasonal sites. There are 38 tent only sites as well. There are 3 primitive…

Very good Hospitality, love the Atmosphere and will Call hall definitely come back soon
Great because they give you the extra perk of additional time at the park as a resort guest. Camp store is clean. Unfortunately, spaces are small so be prepared to literally be on top of your neighbor
We had 3 families and sites (2 campers & 1 tent) all sites were decent sizes. We had lake front access to put kayaks in and fish which was awesome. Great walking path around lake for kids to ride bikes to parks or beach. Beach area was nice. Only downside to our trip was poured every night and…

$20 to rent a kayak for 1 1/2 hour! Had a great time taking my son for a spin around the lake. The snack shop had burgers and shakes that were very reasonably priced!
Very nice campground for all types; tents, pop ups RVS etc, spots are pretty close together however. Facilities are nice, have washer and dryer but outter showers floors are a little funky, would def come again.x
Awesome neighbors. Awesome staff. We had some decent sized fires going. No one complained about our music. We’re definitely going again!
In theory, this is a nice place to stay. However, a large and noisy group of young people did not obey the 10p quiet time and there is no management enforcing rules.
Campground is as basic as they get. Sites are close to each other with absolutely no privacy. Bathrooms however are nice and clean with plenty of them around the park. Rangers will pass by and check that everyone is in the correct sites but that's about it. Quiet time is listed in reservations…
My family and I stayed at Lake In Wood for 4 days. The campground is very well maintained , and the staff is very nice. There is a kiddie pool , as well as an indroor/outdor pool. The sites appeared to all be a very good size. Even though the campground has a Gnome theme, there are plenty of things…
although I haven't camped here in 20 years, I hope the pictures I'm adding are helpful

It was our first time camping with our puppy. Our loop was really pet friendly. We had the chance to go hiking and fishing. Unfortunately, the dogs were not allowed near the lake so many people left them at their campsite while they visited the beach. Our neighbors left their dog in the tent and it…

We stayed here during the winter January-February no activities going on. It does offer beautiful views especially covered in snow. Has a heated pool and playground, laundry facilities and a small game. Shower / bathrooms are the best I’ve ever seen.
