A winding forest road leads campers away from highway noise to this creek-side KOA, where the sound of flowing water replaces traffic hum. The approach sets expectations—a long, tree-lined drive that follows a creek bed into a wooded valley. Sites spread along both sides of the stream, with many RV spots positioned directly alongside the water where campers can hear the gentle current from their doorstep.

The campground maintains a forest setting with mature trees providing natural shade over gravel and dirt pads. RVs up to 50 feet can access full hookups at pull-through sites, though some creek-side spots require parallel parking rather than backing in. "The gravel site was level, so I didn't even have to unhook from my truck," notes Corby M.. The creek runs the length of the property, stocked with small fish and shallow enough for gold panning activities that draw families with children.

A short but steep hiking trail climbs 0.32 miles to an overlook, requiring proper footwear for the rocky ascent and controlled descent. The campground provides a fenced dog park with agility equipment, mini golf, volleyball and basketball courts, plus a swimming pool and game room during normal operations. Bathrooms receive consistent praise for cleanliness and being well-stocked with essentials. A camp store covers basic supplies, and recreational equipment loans are available.

The remote location means no nearby highway noise, though a gun range operates until 10 PM on some evenings. Staff escort guests to their sites during check-in, helping navigate the layout. The seasonal operation from April through November aligns with Pennsylvania's camping weather, and advance reservations help secure preferred creek-side locations. For campers exploring the broader region, campgrounds around Germansville provide additional options within the Lehigh Valley area.

This KOA works well for families seeking creek access and RV travelers wanting full hookups in a wooded setting removed from urban noise.

Easy Dump & Fill

They allow to dump and fill fresh water (sign at the entrance says that as well) for a small 10$ which is quite nice. Was quick and convenient, lady at the front desk was very kind!

Such a pretty little KOA!

This was a small and very pretty KOA. The staff couldn't have been nicer. The trees and the creek that run through it make it really special.Unlike many KOAs, it wasn't near a large busy road, but out in the forest. We were only there for one night on our trip to Acadia, but it was so pleasant there, I would have been happy to stay longer. We had site 19, which was a pull through, small, but so is our camper.

Very Small, Friendly Staff

We stayed here a couple years ago.  We chose this campground mainly because it was close to home and we could camp and not miss my daughter's soccer practice/game.  We were pleasantly surprised by the campground.  It was chilly when we visited so we did not make use of the pool.  We did however, do quite a bit of walking and wandering around and enjoyed ourselves.

Nice camp. Nice staff. Nearby gun range had “the sounds of freedom” going until 10pm Friday but Saturday and Sunday were pretty quiet. Nice stream but no swimming. No alcohol.

Surprising Tranquility

We stayed overnight here on our way north. We had no expectations for this KOA. However the drive jn set the stage. It was a long winding road through the forest with a creek running below the road. Utterly magical. Had to park to check in and were led to our site. Our campsite was alongside the creek. Meaning, we should have parallel parked our RV but didn't realize that until after out second attempt to backing which is what the guy told us that drove us to the site. We parked at an angle and decided were done. Regardless, the location was more beautiful than we could have asked for. The creek had small fish and was running slowly. We saw a few people "walking the creek" which ran the length of the campground. There were signs for panning in the creek which a few kids were doing. I was happy to find a hiking trail. Although only .32 miles one-way, it was a winding steep climb to the top of large hill. Wear hiking shoes and have hiking poles to control your descent. Movies and recreational equipment can be borrowed. The campground had lots of trees. Pads were combination of gravel & dirt. Forgot to add they have a large fenced dog park with apparatus in it. Even though we don't have a dog, this play area looked great. We will definatley stop there again. We highly recommend it.

Great place for kids

Loved being right next to the stream. No fish in sight though. Sites were huge! Hiking trail was about a mile up and back but cool. Lots of pull through sites. Bathrooms very clean and stocked with stuff you might need.

Small place

Very small campground. Can be tight getting around with a bigger camper if not experienced. 2 different playgrounds and a pool that could use some updating. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Purple was a big help. Not much to do in that area or on the campground with kids. Bathrooms were just OK.

Awesome campground

Really nice campground. Staff was friendly and helpful. It’s very secluded, no highway noise. Our spot backed up right to a creek and it was beautiful. Only giving 4 stars because the toilets had problems and the dump station didn’t have running water. Would definitely return regardless.

A Nice Quick First Trip

Our first trip with the new travel trailer. We had a nice pull-through site and enjoyed our stay. Nice stream running through camp.

I wish I could have stayed longer

I was passing through and I only stayed one night. When I arrived, check-in was easy and professional. A host had me follow him to a super convenient pull-through site, and stayed to make sure I was all set.  The gravel site was level, so I didn't even have to unhook from my truck.

The campground is a little far from I-78, but the roads were easy to navigate and it didn't take long to get there.

My dog and I had a quiet comfortable night, and I will definitely return for a longer stay the next time I'm in PA.

Nice RV camp site

I enjoyed my time there, tho it felt like a parking lot with everything close to each other. Didn’t have privacy camping but they have things to offer. I am more of a person who like to be isolated, I come from the city to be completely away from everyone and this RV park wasn’t for me since I had people right next to me.
