Overpriced and tired

For $80 bucks I expected more. The place is run down and almost feels abandoned. The ring in the pool suggests the water level has been low for a long time. The H sites are somewhat swampy. It may have been quite the place back in its time, but it is in sole serious need of TLC. If it had been $20 instead of $80 I’d give it 2 stars.

First time camping with our TT

We choose Robinhill for our very first camping experience with our TT, we were not disappointed.  Staff very friendly, it was nice and quiet and the bathroom was nice and clean.  We will stay here again.

Great place for a little rest and relaxation.

Place was pretty big. Sites are pretty big and clean. Can’t tell you about restroom as I have my own, but they do have. Nice lake for fishing. About an hour from a motorbike riding park.

Close neighbors and very hilly

What a view! Out the rear of the campground was a spectacular view! It's too bad it is mainly seasonal sites back there. This campground is called Robin HILL for a reason. You will get you exercise walking to the pond, pool, capstone or basketball courts. The playground was luckily right across from us up on the hill. They also have a Frisbee golf course on site. There is a pond for fishing however we didn't have any luck. It had a lot of pond scum and there were a lot of duck families around. The pool was very nice and refreshing. I liked how the kid area wrapped around and connected to the deeper end. We enjoyed our time here and would try again but in the lower level.

Majorly improved!!

This campground had been let go with poor management for many years, HOWEVER the new management and staff have really turned it around!! The grounds are beautiful and free of trash, the cabins are beautiful and clean, bathrooms are amazing for a campground, staff is very friendly and they truly go above and beyond. I can’t wait to see what else they improve in the years to come!!

Pretty

Pretty campground with cute pool. But they put us right next to the dumpsters and they stunk. We couldn’t find another 50amp and they were closed. Pricy too $70. For the night.

Rundown

Sites are swampy if they've had rain! Took us over two hours to disconnect because of mushy, muddy site!.. Our Usual disconnect and set up time less than an hour!

Many seasonal or annual sites were trashy and their rigs very dirty!.

Personnel were very nice and considerate but area needs over haul and cleanup!

Not sure about other sites but ours had a big 'tank' that was used for sewer hookup instead of group connection as did all the sites around us

Very nice, but very pricey!

We have always loved this campground. But although it is very clean and nicely located, but the corporation that owns this campground is very greedy. In addition to the daily rate, which is quite high for what you're getting, everything is extra. There is an extra fee every day as a resort fee. If you want internet, you must by it online, it is not provided. They've chopped many sites in half, so on many sites you are right on top of someone else. The only reason we keep coming back is because we like the area.

Not what it used to be

Lots of sites. Usually have availability. It has declined more and more on each visit. Grass isn't always cut, low voltage throughout the campground, building falling over and roped off with caution tape and that is not an exaggeration, games in arcade are dated and most don't work. Lots of drinking in public areas, such as the arcade and IN the pool. Store has the basics and the ice cream counter is nice. Some of the sites are tight to get in to, especially on the office side of the campground. The price is way too high for this campground. Paying close to $70 a night is outrageous for Robin Hill. Before cooperate bought it, it was a lot cheaper with family friendly pricing and much cleaner. Staff has always been friendly. Wifi is available but daily fee is expensive, and it was slow and intermittent.

RVers would like this place

Although they do have sites for tents, this seems to be better suited for RVers and renting cabins. Many of the people we met during our stay are regulars. We were here on Mother's Day weekend and the activity director organized a nice continental breakfast, free chair massages, and raffled off manicure and pedicures. They had an art activity for the children, BINGO on Friday night, and a live band on Saturday night. There is an outdoor pool which is open seasonally, an arcade, a playground for children, and a catch and release lake for fishing. It is rather spread out and a lot of the RVers we met had a golf cart that they brought with them. Everyone we met from the other campers to the staff were super nice and friendly.
