Slice of heaven

Always a family favorite. No phones (a short ten minute drive if you need it), just fishing and family fun. Large property, fun to walk, hike and the Chama river is beautiful with fishing on the property or a short walk to quality waters.

Good Campsite

Campsite well maintained, lots of ground to walk, creek nearby for fishing. Awesome bathroom. Only a 4 star as way too much traffic rolling by on main dirt road to other parts of park and creek. And not enough shade. Couldn’t set up my awning as the ground was extremely rocky and cement like.…

Beautiful little oasis in the desert

Nice campsite that looks to be well maintained. Note that if you stay on Juniper Loop the website does say you need 100ft of hose to get water from the spigot. My site at #29 Juniper loop only required two 20 foot hoses and I only had to use one of my 20 foot electrical cables. However I would…

Gold Panning

Stopped here after talking to camp host at Morphy Lake. Said that the creek might have some gold in it and easy access, so we tried it out. Found a few specks! Park was very nice. We only spent the day but it was a perfect spot!

Hubby and I happened onto this beautiful state park. When we were there they had only been open for about two months. The camping spots were perfect equipped with a picnic table and a fire ring. Perfect place on top of a mountain with amazing view!

Great place to stay.

This is an excellent campground. It is well maintained, the staff are so nice, helpful and friendly. The sites are spaced out well. There is art scattered around the property as well as along the walking paths. The sunsets are amazing all within just 5 to 10 minutes from town. This is going to be…

Nice quiet spot

The park is a few miles out of town on the original Route 66. It is very quiet and comfortable. The sites are fairly close together like most KOA's. The staff and owners were very friendly. We really enjoyed stay. We were in a water and electric site which was perfect for 5 nights. The showers…

Nice but Could be Great

This Forest Service Campground is less than ten miles from the Santa Fe Plaza and is, thus, very popular and very busy. It should be noted that about half of this distance is on a somewhat steep, but very good road. Most of the sites are reservable, and are reserved well in advance, but there are…

Quiet and Clean

The campground is very well maintained, camp host makes sure that restrooms are clean and smell free. Campsites are clean. Actual sites are paved, with gravel areas for tents. Fire pits are large and well built. Nice walking path along the stream/creek. Good place to take a walk after munching…

Great Location

Campsite is situated at the Cave Creek trailhead, a cool hike to some local caves. It's 5 bucks for the night, 2 dollars day use, all backpacking tent sites. Some shelters. Gorgeous views, camp guide says its booked fill every weekend. Good luck

Beautiful Hiking

This is a great campground if you like to take some hikes through some beautiful national forest with a picturesque river. The Santa Barbara Campground is relatively small and most of the sites can't accommodate large rv's. A small travel trailer or tent works well in most sites. None of the sites…

Fun & Funky

Nice back in sites are wide with vegetation and patios. The dog park and walking trail are handy. The views are special and there was musical entertainment one night at the club patio. The gravel sites and driveway was a bit dusty, otherwise this would be 5 star park.

Great Campground Close to Taos Plaza

The whole property has a friendly/family culture and the couple who manages the campground is very personable and knowledgeable about the area.…
