Awesome site

Loved the quiet spaces sites and the dogs are to die for! Do yourself a favor and wake up early to watch the sunrise!!

  • this sweet pup stayed with us all night and joined us for breakfast
  • recommend a tie out for your pup if they like to chase critters.

Wonderful views, spacious sites!

We really like this RV Park! The spaces are wide and angled enough to allow for great views! There are no trees, so you will be using your AC and awning when it’s hot out. Sites were quite level and hookups are easy access. There are both full hookup sites and water and electric only sites; there…

Rustic and wooded

I was here on a Thursday and there were 2 other sites taken by the end of the night. This is off a backroad (dirt) that is somewhat well traveled.  So the campground is petty accessible by any vehicle. But the campground is tucked between the river and the road. There was 0 traffic all night, but a…

Beautiful setting on Rio Grande River with walking trails and large RV spot

WE LOVED OUR TRIP TO THIS RV PARK.  NESTLED ON THE RIO GRANDE RIVER AND PLENTY OF LARGE COTTONWOOD TREES PROVIDING SHADE AND A REPRIEVE FROM THE WARM AFTERNOON SUN.  LESS THAN ONE MILE FROM DEL NORTE WITH SHOPS AND DELICIOUS MICRO BREWERY AND MICRO BAKERY (WHICH OPENED THE DAY WE ARRIVED).  HIGHLY…

Great views - car camping

Great spot right off the road! This spot had plenty of space to park our car (a small RV would fit too). Great views and some shade.

Best of all the dispersed camps sites in our opinion.

Great spot

This is not my type of camping and it is my first time staying at a KOA. If resort camping is your thing this one is clean, has showers, and pancake breakfast on Saturdays.

Beautiful

This is an artist paradise. So many beautiful land formations and gorgeous sunsets. The campground includes a bath house with laundry room and electric hookups if needed. $30 to tent camp (no electric). Lodging, yurts and cabins, are also available.

Peaceful and comfortable

This RV campground is beautiful and peaceful. The river flows next to the grounds and the trees provide lovely shade. The campground is super clean and well maintained. The hosts, Bill and Julia, are friendly and welcoming. The other campers follow the rules and are friendly too. Lots of folks who…

Great for overnight, crowded

We love the place, some people took up a lot of space and blocked areas. Verizon was good 2-3 bars with LTE. Some gnats, had to go up a mile or so, to get a spot...1

Stunning sunset view and great price

Just watched an amazing sunset from our spot. Conveniently located and super affordable. Very nice greeting from the man at the front desk as well. Definitely a nice find just outside of Taos.

Cow pond

We were here in June 2019, and it was completely overgrown and in the middle of a cow pasture. Didn't stay for long, but it was disappointing because it is over an hour from the main road.

Campfires 🔥 allowed

Very nice campground. Camp host, Dawn, was very pleasant. No luck fishing but several people around us were catching very nice sized trout.

Vault toilets were well stocked and clean. Trails near b for hiking and biking

Extra dispersed campsites up dirt road from campground entrance
