Fun place to stay

I camped in the park for a friend's wedding. I was pleasantly surprised at how nice it is. You park in the grass. Pull through is an option. Bathrooms were clean and close by. The river runs by so we had a fun night out on a sand bar. It's in town which has several restaurant choices. We didn't get…

Nice RV Sites

This is a nice city park with numerous site with electric and water hookup, dump station is located on you way out of the park. The sites are grass and some of them are on some slopes. It took a few moves to get leveled out.

Great little free camp

These small towns in NE have the right idea with these free community campgrounds. It’s just the reason we need to stop and visit local businesses and explore a town we would normally just pass through.

This camp is nothing fancy but very nice. It’s a short walk to the Mainstreet shops and the…

Easy access friendly owner

Small, clean, no frills. Across the street from a spectacular city playground/ swimming pool. Owner very friendly and accommodating. Credit cards not accepted, cash and check allowed

Beautiful Lake

This lake is amazing — clean and with a sand base.

Camping isn’t great, as it’s limited and close to others. If you’re looking for remote spots, this is not the place.

That said, this is a reservoir and a wildlife management area, so it’s understandable.

Wonderful location right by a creek, huge park with playground equipment, big swimming pool and golf course. Full hookups (electric, water, sewer) for only $10 per night! Cute town with all the amenities!

Quiet and Easy

Making the trek back East, i needed a place to crash for the night. Quiet campground and a beautiful view off the lake. You have to pay for showers. 1.25 for 6 minutes got the job done. Chopped wood for sale at the nearest gas station.

Homestead Knolls

Beautiful campground! Nice boat ramp but can be tricky to load if windy. Book in advance as this site is very popular and always full!

Clean, peaceful, pretty

Spent a night here by the water and experienced a beautiful sunset. Its a perfect place to camp for a night or kayak for an afternoon. Got lucky enough to have the entire place to myself. Really relaxed place. Perfect for tent camping and a water view.

Great place to tent camp!

The only issue I have is when the algae bloom happens every year, then there is no water activity permitted

Small Scenic Campground

Very small campground inside the Burwell city park. Four electrical hookups, two back in & two pull-through. Very old wooden pit toilets, may have showers up at the pool & had one flush toilet restroom on the outside wall of the pool house that had a door (unlocked at all times we were…

Nice and quiet

Small park with no running water, no playground equipment, no electricity. The grounds were kept up nicely and there is an outhouse for use. The mosquitos were terrible. There’s two small ponds for fishing, I wouldn’t recommend swimming in them. The loup river is a short distance away…
