Grand Island KOA

We found this little place and we are so happy we stopped here. They’ve got a little market that’s open until 6 PM. They’ve got the pizza delivery. The delights are very nice the sites they have a nice patio area with a barbecue and Adirondack chairs and picnic tables it’s got some play equipment for children. It does not have a dog park and it does not have a swimming pool, but it does have great shade and things for the kids to play on.

Had a grassy spot next to the pool, close to the showers and restrooms but not too close close vicinity to the game room as well just here for one night day had a fire picnic table. Everything was in good working order clean restrooms and showers.

One of the best KOAs we’ve stayed at. Secluded and quiet. Conveniently right of the interstate but you cannot hear the road noise. Pool is awesome and warm. Make sure to order a pizza while you are here

Nice level spots. No sewer at some of the spots. Two dog parks. Nice playground AND kids love the bounce pad. It's huge. Nice clean restrooms and showers. Very friendly staff. Pizza for sale until 9:00 p.m. they will deliver ice and firewood to your site. A little on the expensive side at $88 with tax for a no sewer spot. Mosquitoes were BAD. Very close to the interstate but we didn't really notice the sound of traffic at all. Surrounded by nice peaceful cornfields.

Just stopped for the night on our way from CO to MN. Even though we arrived after the office closed (6:15) the envelope they left us gave clear directions. Campsite was pull through with easy hookups. Would recommend this campground. Clean and well managed.

This campground is situated near interstate 80 and surrounded by cornfields, surprise surprise for Nebraska. Nice people, clean bathrooms and well kept property. There is a mixture of shaded and non-shaded sites. We had full hookups which were all in good order. There is a new manager at the campground who is working on upgrading some of the facilities and amenities. This KOA sounds like it will be improving on already nice conditions. Although near the highway there was not a lot of road noise.

It is very close to Interstate, but I could not hear it. Prices for full hookup are more than other places. Arrived after hours without issue. I tried 2 different restrooms and showers. Hair stuck to wall in shower, toilets that need to be cleaned and replaced. Floors were dirty. They should check them every hour or two after 5pm until 11pm for the price.

We ended up choosing this spot as I’m assuming we’re “off season” as many other surrounding places were closed to camping this time of year. This place looks like it has a lot of time time campers. The sites are tight, like right on top of each other. The office closed early but they had the information outside.

The bathrooms were clean and warm. The playground was taped off with caution tape.

This was an overnight stay, the traffic is loud but not overwhelming.

Great campground other that you are on top of your neighbors. Thought we might not be able to open our awning, only about 3 to 4 feet between sites. Loved a lot of restrooms. Pool was nice. If you are tent camping great sites.

After traveling all day it was nice meeting a happy face and great customer service. Sites are long but thin and we were able to stay hooked up for the next day travel. Pool was nice and refreshing.

This KOA Campground was very pleasant, and the pizza with wings tasted great! Staff member brought our food to our campsite. The staff were friendly, helpful, and informative. Definitely recommended! Our campsite was clean. The shower house was clean, and there was plenty of hot water.

After a day of driving check in was easy. Loved the pool. It was clean. Showers were clean. You can order a pizza in the office. The two ladies working we’re awesome and even delivered the fresh cooked pizza to our site. Lots of activities for kids. Playground, bikes, basketball, pool. Some sites had trees. Mine did not but we were close to dog run.

This campsite has lots almost on top of one another. There is hardly any room to set up your tent. Adjacent campsites are so close together you can hear everyone's conversation.

On a positive note the pool and bathroom amenities were kept up.

This campground is now CLOSED for the 2021 season.

Today is October 16.

Arrived after hours for a quick over night stay. Only down side very dark and hard to find entrance. Sites are fairly close to each other but campsite is very nice and kept. Our site had a nice unobstructed view. Nice shower and restroom facilities. Would stay again.

The campground was nice, but sites were tiny and close. The pool was nice, as were the showers and bathrooms. Very clean. The ladies in the office were wonderful. The farm traffic was loud in the morning, but we were up to leave anyway. Overall, we would probably stay again.

This campground is set among the corn fields. The staff was super! The pool is cool and tucked away in the back. The store sold single local beers and was open late. They were slinging hot pizza. We stayed in an air conditioned camping cabin. Super close to the pool and bathrooms! 2 of the nicest fenced dog parks of any KOA. I would definitely stay there again if driving through.

The sites are tight, our awning is basically touching the next RVs slide . Not much shade

Stayed on our way to Colorado from Indiana. Right of the interstate. Well stocked store. Pool full hookups and pull through. What more could you need for a good nights rest.

I was surprised how quite the sites were with it being so close to I80. The shower and bath houses are very clean. There is lots to keep kids busy ... our 3 year old spent most of the evening catching toads.

Just a quick stop over but was very very clean and nice!!

Stopped on our way through to Wisconsin. We ended up coming in late so they left our information in an envelope for us. The reason for 4 stars instead of 5 was because we got a tent site with electricity but didn't know we were going to get a site with only gravel. It may have been user error on my part...as I did make the reservation online. Beautiful site, but we just didn't stay long enough to enjoy all that was available to us. We had Soo much fun catching frogs/toads at our site!!

This was a wonderful spot to visit during our trip across the country. The pet friendly cabin was a cozy air conditioned break from the August heat. The location is great and feels tucked away every though it isn't far from the highway. The staff were very helpful. I would definitely recommend!

Seriously these guys are on the ball. Quickly got us checked in and taken to our spot, with free koozies I might add. Wonderful pool, park, shower houses and restrooms. Quiet and shady with plenty of room. Highly recommend.

Traveling thru to California. Easy on/off from I-80. Clean spots and level pads. Registration was very easy. Nice overnighter. Looking to try this KOA when we can stay.

This is our fav stopover when traveling through Midwest. It Is the cleanest camp! Small but shade trees and very clean restrooms. Swimming pool. We have also stayed in camper cabins when it was too hot to camp. Excellent cabins with ac , ask for one in shade ! Nice porches and tables.

Nice place for a one night stay while traveling. Clean restrooms and friendly staff.
