Really good overnight stop

Streeter Park is a nice park with ball fields, walking paths, waterpark and a small campground. The campground has about a dozen or so sites set up in a gravel parking lot next to the waterpark. It's a place where you can pull in your camper & spend the night. It's free, although a donation is requested. The sites are small parking spaces, close together. Each site has a picnic table, electricity & water. Waste disposal is also available in the campground as well as trash dumpsters. You can use the restrooms at the waterpark & ball field; they were open all night. No shower facilty. The one negative is the road noise; it was loud at times. This campground is not a destination; it's a really good place for an overnight stop.

Great spot!

Free water/sewer/power/dumpster though they do ask for donations! Right next to a water park. Like, connected to it. Can stay FREE for 4 days! Also has a park for the kiddos. Very nice spot. Would absolutely stay again! There’s also an awesome Science place for the kiddos in town!

Quick stop over

Driving west on 80 and needed a quick place to sleep for the night. So glad we stopped here. Was 11:00pm when we found it, gps was spot on but after passing the water park, well lit up, the park entrance looked dark and we saw no signs for camping. We went in anyway with fingers crossed and looking closely saw a welcoming sign inviting rvs and tents to camp next to the park parking lot. It’s perfect. There were a few spots open and we went to the end of the line where there is a nice breeze. Picnic table. There is electric hookup but ours doesn’t work. All good for a nice place to get comfy—for free! I hear the water park has restrooms but didn’t walk over to find out the arrangement or hours. Heard one train go by but so far it’s quieter than most KOAs and just a little road noise, but we have all windows open.

No frills but awesome

Nestled into the town park between the ball fields and the water slide, the no frills spots fit the bill for a quick overnight. Bathroom indoors at the water slide. Electricity and water available. Dump station and trash cans available. The town has free wifi, but I couldn't connect from my parking spot.

Amazing gem

We pulled in around 9pm and there were only 3 other campers. The park was quiet and sites were easy to back into. The bathroom was clean and warm. We will be back when in this area. Price is by donation.

Lovely stay with amenities galore but noisy

Wow! This place has it all. Picnic tables, trash bins, water hookups, electric hook ups, flush toilets, dump station, and WiFi. ALL FOR FREE! Stayed late April and I wasnt the only camper, average of 3 other campers per night. Sites are very close together but other campers were respectful and spaced out. They have a playground, doggy waste stations and extra picnic tables by the playground. This campground is right off the main road so you will hear the vehicles drive by but barely heard it at night in my van. A train does come through so you will hear it honk. WiFi worked exceptionally well so I could work efficiently (granted only a couple of us were using it). Lots of daytime traffic since it’s next to baseball fields and a little park but felt safe the entire time. You can stay up to 4 nights. There is a donation box at the front if you have some cash! Definitely would stay here again, imagine it gets very booked during the summer as it’s next to a pool. I had 2-3 bars of LTE via AT&T

Wonderful stopover off I-80

After seeing this site on one of the full-time RVer YouTube pages we were thrilled to be stopping by on the way to South Dakota. These sites are pretty close, but deep enough for my 35 ft travel trailer to fit. I did have to park my truck perpendicular in front of the trailer. There's a playground nearby and several walking paths as well as a restroom. these cell service was great and the camp even has free wi-fi provided by the city. There is very good water and sewer connections as well. There are well maintained 30 and 20 amp connections. We found the site to be very level left and right we just had to level front and back a little bit. if you're passing by Aurora Nebraska and need a place to stay this is a wonderful option.

Nice park with some camping

Stayed here for four days in October 2020.

The city of Aurora has built a very nice city park with a lot of features. We have kids so having a good playground and courts was a must. The kids played all day while I worked.

The WiFi was good but we were here off season.

the Camp spots are laid out a little weird. The current bush and spigot are shared across two sites.

Stayed pretty quiet, occasionally you can hear a passing truck on the road and a train isn't too far off, but even the 2 year old managed to sleep pretty well.

Overall I would recommend staying here especially if you are travelling with children.

grateful to aurora!

sincere thanks to the town of aurora. spent one night here after a long day of driving on a cross-country trip.

nice shady and green spot for our pop-up van camping. my teen charged up their switch, we topped off the water tank, and settled in, listening to frog and insects, nibbling our fritos and fake cheese dip. neighborly folks said hello walking by. it is covid time so pool closed, but the bathroom is open. no shower option.

we put a fiver in the donation box, and heard the train whistles, cicadas, locusts, froggies all night. some sleep was had! grateful for the kindness of this town!

Nice stop just off the Highway and close to !-80- All for a Donation

Hookups, clean modern rest room and the pool will let you use the shower.  Nice city park trail through the trees for a good morning walk.  We had a great stay and I was not bothered by the noise, but trains travel throughout this part of Nebraska and they always sound like they are right next door even if they are 10 miles away.

Streeter Park donation park

Streeter Park has electric and water hook-ups for campers and has I nice park and a nature walk. It is also right next to the municipal pool. So you can swim also. Pay is by donation. It is nice and in the trees. The campsites are in walking distance of a few restaurants and convenience store and grocery store. We had a nice stay.

Very Pleasantly Surprised

Very tidy. Adjacent to ball fields and community pool with water slides and a spray ground! Water at each site. Small gravel pad with some grass. Enough room for a couple tents although the space is intended for campers/rvs. Earplugs were a great suggestion. I’m giving this 5 stars because although it’s not perfect, it is impressive for the area, the proximity to I-80 and certainly for the price!

Streeter Park

Beautiful campground, very well kept up. Most bathrooms were very clean but the one near the pool was very smelly and in need of a good cleaning. Did get a bit noisy at night due to some couple with a small yapping dog nearby arguing loudly and slamming vehicle doors. Also nearby trains were very noisy. Overall it was a very beautiful campground. Suggestion: wear earplugs and it would be much better.

The RV area of this park has 18ish pads fcfs with electrical and water hookups. There is a dump station as well. It is located right off highway 34 and only a few miles off I 80. Great area to stop for the night. The park is in town and right next to the city pool. There is one bathroom near the pool and playground area.
