Good for overnight stay

Electricity failed at site P which was a nice site further away from highway but hosts called electrician to get it back on. They got a long extension cord so we could get our slide and levelers back in an moved us to site 52 which was fine. Bathrooms and showers good.

SiteP but moved to 52

Nice overnight stop

We arrive at midnight the self checkin was easy. BRING CASH and QUARTERS.

The only annoying thing was needing quarters to shower. $1.25 for 7.5 minutes

Good only for overnight stopover

The interstate noise is loud even though staff assigned us not directly facing I 80. Staff friendly. As people started to show up, staff kept a space between us. Showers and bathroom clean. Only negative is interstate noise

Great stop over for us!

Friendly staff!  We stayed in Site 84. Gravel pull through that was level.  Close, but not too close to neighbors.  Lots of grassy areas to walk the dogs with waste stations and bags.  Although we have no kids traveling with us, the playground area was in great shape and had lots to do.  Laundry…

Excellent location

This campground is exactly as the name says. By a lake. Beautiful views, great cell coverage (Verizon) friendly staff, nice store. Definitely a come back to place.

Cool spot

There are three campgrounds, one near the entrance off the state road and two on either side of the inlet of the reservoir. Again, the Dyrt coordinates were incorrect. The Inlet park for RV’s only is on the other side of the lake from the state park with the swimming area.

The spots are close…

Favorite Place in Nebraska

As avid outdoor lovers, fishermen and bow hunters this is our favorite place to be! The scenery is beautiful year round, wildlife is abundant and the park is so well kept and clean. The camp hosts, rangers, biologists are wonderful, friendly people! We love that the majority of the electrical…

Great campground! Very reasonably priced, shaded, level sites, great wifi, and a nice pool! What more could you ask for? I would recommend this to anyone!

Good overnight stop on I-80

Your average RV campground. Close to I-80, but far enough to not hear the traffic. Pull-thru sites make it easy to get going in the AM. Pool is in the shape of the state of Nebraska. Near restaurants and gas stations, as well as a Go-kart place for some entertainment. Bathrooms and showers were…

Nice quiest campground that is really good for a 1 night stay

We stayed here on the way to Colorado. It is a nice easy in and out campground that has great concrete pull through sites and it makes it easy to get in, go to sleep and wake up and head out. I wouldn't stay here for anything other than that but for a quick stop, it is a great alternative. Great…

Very nice uncrowded park

Very nice stop, close but not too close to I-80. Quiet. Nice lakeside setting.

Some strange noise in the middle of the night

Nice sites and location especially for the price, however when the noise started in the middle of the night (like a series of rockets) the noise went on for several minutes. We still don’t know what it was but it answered our question about why the site was so reasonably priced.

Awesome campground

Quiet and not too crowded campground with spots right on the water. We visited on a Monday night so it might pick up on the weekends. The lake is awesome and it is pet friendly. You pay at a Dropbox we believe as there were not clear instructions and no park rangers. Clean and functional bathrooms,…

Great Stopover for I-80 Travelers

We just stopped for the night to get some rest on our road trip. Without a reservation, we were able to show up and get a spot with ALL our wants 50A—water—pull through site. The lady who helped me on the phone and during check in was super kind and helpful. Campgrounds were pretty clean, though a…
