Great overnight stop along I80

Quaint little city park with RV and tent camping. To occupy a tent site you MUST pitch a tent ( so no Van camping at those). Place is quiet and clean and nice peeps

Nice campground

They took ok in as an emergency stop because our truck had DEF issues. Campground is nice level concrete pads and a reasonable distance between sites. There is a stocked pond you can fish without a license. It is catch and release only. It is right on a bike/walking path that goes into the…

Convenient stop for one night.

We stopped here for one night on our tent camping trip across the U.S. The tent sites were well spaced, and the bathroom was much closer than it appeared on the map on their website. Very friendly staff. The bathrooms and showers were clean, and the water pressure for the shower was outstanding.…

Okay for a Lake Campground

Campground fee is $15 per night. However, if you’re from out-of-state there is an additional $8.00 per-night fee.

The Inlet campground is on the west side of the lake. It is actually two campgrounds: one immediately north of the inlet and one immediately south of the inlet. They’re are linked by…

  • Beautiful view of the lake

Good for overnight stay

Electricity failed at site P which was a nice site further away from highway but hosts called electrician to get it back on. They got a long extension cord so we could get our slide and levelers back in an moved us to site 52 which was fine. Bathrooms and showers good.

SiteP but moved to 52

Great spot for a rest break or weekend stay

We stayed here Sunday night of Labor Day weekend on a cross country trip. We arrived late, and were able to use after hours self check in. There were about 8 sites empty in the grounds, and we were happily surprised by how peaceful and well spaced the camping spots were, many backing up to a lake.…

Nice overnight stop

We arrive at midnight the self checkin was easy. BRING CASH and QUARTERS.

The only annoying thing was needing quarters to shower. $1.25 for 7.5 minutes

Good only for overnight stopover

The interstate noise is loud even though staff assigned us not directly facing I 80. Staff friendly. As people started to show up, staff kept a space between us. Showers and bathroom clean. Only negative is interstate noise

Great stop over for us!

Friendly staff!  We stayed in Site 84. Gravel pull through that was level.  Close, but not too close to neighbors.  Lots of grassy areas to walk the dogs with waste stations and bags.  Although we have no kids traveling with us, the playground area was in great shape and had lots to do.  Laundry…

Nebraska Beauty

Stopped here for just a night. Amazing! Here at end of August, beautiful views quiet and tranquil. Host was so kind. Had trees to climb, swing set, and tether ball for kids while we sat and watched the lake. Giant trees for great shade. Totally surpassed my expectations.

Cool spot

There are three campgrounds, one near the entrance off the state road and two on either side of the inlet of the reservoir. Again, the Dyrt coordinates were incorrect. The Inlet park for RV’s only is on the other side of the lake from the state park with the swimming area.

The spots are close…

Big spaces huge trees

Lafayette City Campground is a nice place with huge cottonwoods and larger spaces. Water, electric for $25 a night. Dump station.

We’re not golfers but apparently there is a world class golf course here.

Close by lake Helen which is a fishing lake. We were hoping to take a dunk but no luck,…

RV/tent spots in what is a quiet municipal park.

30 amp and water hook-ups at the NE corner of the Oxford city park.  There is a free dump station w/ water available nearby.  The night we spent there, we had planned to boondock along the Republican River, but temps were ~100 degrees so we altered our route to have electricity of the AC.  Widely…
