Campgrounds are laid out well, but it can get loud at night. The park rangers have their hands full and they do a good job with settling disputes and quieting the rowdy campers.
Nice weather on that day to cook out nearby the beach, and fishing at the lake. Not the cleanest spot but had to clean it with water and soap on the tables. There is trails to sightseeing and can be used with bikes as well. Five dollars for day permit.
Another great State Park campground! While some amenities are lacking, no full hookups, many with power only, no pull throughs, it’s the dispersed nature, and is the nature. Clean large sites many on the water or with water views. Great spot.
The coordinates on Dyrt are incorrect and will take you through a maze of corn fields. Use Google Maps and search for Indian Cave SP instead.
It’s very remote do stock up before you leave the highway.
Once there, the park is accommodating and easy to navigate. We only spent the night, but could…
We just came off 2-3 weeks of hot dirty, dusty, un-level, gravelly, marginally maintained campgrounds and this campground was sheer heaven! Clean level concrete pads with hook ups that worked! A pool that was warm enough to get all the way into (but still truly refreshing!) and a well organized…
Vibe: Mix of family summer camping and older camping clubs. Rows of sites. More utilitarian than nature.
General spots: Good size, ok spacing, not private, shade varies from none to moderate.

Super quiet, really well kept place. Will come again for sure and had some hikes around the primitive campsites.
Relatively quiet area with a few other campers around. Lake is nice but no view from the campsite. Site itself was littered, lots of broken glass, very poorly maintained bathrooms. Probably would have done the job for a one night stay but ended up leaving due to the sweltering heat/humidity
The owner is very helpful. This camp is easy in and out, close to St Joseph, some concrete pads, some gravel. We will stay here again next year
We stayed here one night and wished we had booked a longer trip. The park is awesome, spacious sites and level. The park is well taken care of and very easy to get to from I70. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We had water and electric but no sewer, which was a little bit of a pain.…
Nice quiet park with lots of family activities. The camping spots were mostly wide with 30/50 power hookups. Paved parking pads made leveling the camper easy. All the park staff we interacted with were very friendly. We hiked, biked, played disc golf, and practiced our archery. Great park…
Spent one night here. Great place to hang out at the lake. Sites are good size and sufficiently far apart. Easy to move around in, even with a big rig. One problem though, rules are not being enforced and people take advantage of it. We were three spots away from a larger group of people partying…

We stayed 1 night here on our way from Denver to Gatlinburg. We had hoped to get in around dinner with time to enjoy the pool, but we left way later than planned. The hosts were so nice and organized…texting us late check in info. The sites were all nice and wide, level, and pull through...such an…
Waas underwhelmed by the information provided online.
Very quiet (except the weird noisy, swarming insect noise early evening !?!) and uncrowded.
