Great campsite

It was a good campsite but the only thing that was bad was the bugs. Ether than that it was a great place to camp.

Has potential

This place has great potential, but just isn’t quite there. The indoor pool is great. It’s as warm as a bathtub, but still cool enough that you don’t overheat in 15 minutes. The facilities are VERY outdated, but still functional. The only water available comes from the hot spring, so you have to take cold water to mix it, or wait for it to cool before drinking. With some updates, this could be a high quality place.

Great hike with a oasis at the end!

Easy hike to a stocked pond. Not much elevation difference, on a good path.

The canyons are amazing

Out if this world views, it is a must see. Be prepared to take your time, enjoy the solidarity.

Great views

Nice facilities… camp ground are close but there is enough coverage you don't notice others. The area has tons to do petroglyphs, fishing, hiking, geocaching, and semi-dark skies area.

Highly recommend

We stayed here for about 3 weeks in our motorhome while waiting to close on our new house. The price was very reasonable, the staff was very helpful and friendly, very nice and clean amenities.

My only complaint is that the spaces are pretty narrow. We had neighbors within 10 feet of us on both sides.

I would stay here again.

High Desert At It's Finest

Pulled off here after driving all the way to Indian Creek before realizing the River Road doesn't go all the way through. Its a nice little spot on the river, very secluded to the point where you cant see your fire from the road (we checked). Decent amount of shade for the desert, but from about 1pm-3pm you're going to have to make your own shade, it gets super hot during the summer. Definitely bring your own wood, everything around the area is either too green or too small to have any sort of decent fire. Camp now has a nice little trail to the river, plenty of fish in the area. Great little dispersed site for a desert getaway. Please pick up your trash if you do use the site!

Great Spot in nature, one hour from Boise

THE BRIDGE IS OPEN.  Grayback aka Grayback Gulch CG was closed for a few seasons while the bridge entering the park was replaced.  Pros: I like this little CG; good spacing between sites, clean toilets, potable water and plenty of hiking and fishing opportunities nearby.   I can leave Boise and be on-site in about an hour. Cons: It's close enough to Hwy 21 that you can hear the bigger trucks, very popular ATV/UTV trail head, so expect a little noise and road dust.

Lots of free sites!

Love how most of the areas that are dispersed sites are free! Many to choose from and right on the river!
