In the woods

This campground has pull through and back in RV sites as well as group sites and tent. It is wooded with some trails to explore. Dumpsters, pit toilets and potable water are available. The camp host was very helpful and friendly. For $13.00 per night, you can't beat it!

Stoddard Creek

Right off freeway but noise is very faint. There is a dirt bike + 4 wheeler track for day use. There is not as much noise as I expected from that. There are some sites farther away. The pit toilets are clean but there is only one per loop. The sites are clean and nicely spaced out. Camp hosts are…

Great place for Craters trip

The staff is very friendly and always working. The pool and store are nice. Looks like they are doing everything they can to make this KOA nice.

Great sites!

I really enjoyed this campground. The bugs were pretty aggressive in the afternoon but improved after a small storm passed. The sites are large and level, easily accessible for even large RVs. There were multiple vault toilets, water pump, group sites, and individual sites. For $8 a night, the…

Family Friendly

We drove 10 hours from Denver and didn’t know how late we’d be arriving, so we placed a reservation in advance using the KOA app. Check-in was quick. Our boys got to enjoy the pool before it closed for the evening. I’m the morning they offer FREE waffles, so after packing up the car, we enjoyed…

Beautiful canyon camping

This is a small campsite nestled in a canyon in the Challis National Forest. There is access to a toilet across the road and there is a fire ring with a picnic table. We would go back there again.

Nice place.

Not sure that should count as a toilet. I feel more comfortable in the bushes. But other than that loved it.

Needs remodeling.

Overall it is a very nice place but the utilities need updated and the hotel remodeled. Just kinda old, and not in a rustic way.

Great campground!! The hard working camp host has been there for 4 years. Clean!! Don’t stay in the lower sites...too much ATV’s and dust. The campground size is scheduled to double in size soon. Great place.

Weak Electricity

Staff and grounds were amazing. Pool was perfect for kids. However, on a super hot week site A1 was not strong enough to get our AC running. We were so hot at night in our camper. 😕. Asked staff about it and they said they were aware and repairing it was going to be very costly but they really…

Way too expensive

56 bucks for one night and it’s not that nice looking but it’s there and has hookups.

A perfect campground

Me and my wife were looking to get away for a weekend and this place was just what we needed. We Tent Camp and we had people RV camp on either side of us and never heard them the whole time. The area is very woodsy and very pretty. The campsite was very developed and taken care of. The bathrooms…

Great campground

The host Todd was very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms were the cleanest I’ve seen in a campground, and not smelly either 😁

Great spot to see Craters

We passed through here heading from the Tetons to Oregon. Looks a lot like several other small town KOAs we’ve stayed at. Free waffles for breakfast was a nice touch. We got a site with a large shade tree but many were totally exposed to the sun. Beautiful countryside nearby but not much going on…
