Natural SW Florida

Stayed at Oscar Scherer on a weekday in June. Very quiet. Short, easy hikes. Lush foliage makes each site private. Nice long pull through site #104. Quite narrow and crumbly macadam. Bathhouse dated, needs renovation but clean enough! Enjoyed a day of peace and quiet under the live oaks and sabal…

Great Jump Off Point

I will return to this campground because the Pinellas Bike Trail runs right in front and I can bike into St. Pete. I also like the kayak launch site on property. The bathrooms were very clean and daily trash pick up.

The only down side was the level of privacy but we ended up meeting some great…

Private Paradise

My favorite spot to camp because the spots are secluded from one another with trees and brush. This campground is well maintained.

The park is clean a quiet.

Nothing but good things to say about the staff and park. Close to the beach and is within walking distance to some really nice restaurants. The Ice Cream shop across the street is amazing. Bathhouses are air-conditioned and clean so is the laundry room also has a coin machine. We were able to pull…

Recent stay

We recently state a Hillsborough River State Park, the pool, concession stand and canoe rentals were all closed. Shady sites, clean showers and bathrooms

Despierta temprano

Perfect stop close to beaches.

This will be a yearly stop for us. There’s lot of shade in most of the park, a great pool, two hot tubs and within 3 miles of a beach. Madeira Beach is easy to get to and the campground is right on a Bay Area so there’s kayaking, fishing, a boat dock.. pretty much everything you could ask for.

Escape silencioso

One of our favorites so far

Such a great place to camp with the family. Water front sites so we could take 10 steps out the camper and be in the water with the kayak. The park also has some of the best natural beaches in FL. The store is great and employees were super friendly. Only drawbacks was dust from roadways as it was…

Siesta Key Florida Camping at its best

If you want to be steps from the beach and all that Siesta Key has to offer Turtle Beach State Park is for you.  Turtle Beach is a very small campground which is great if you don't like a crowd.  The sites are really close together but we were there to enjoy the beach with our grandsons so it did…

Nasty Host / Cool Park

Always have an issue with ppl working here. Cheyenne is beyond disrespectful we've decided to leave after our week stay. We've also made the complaint to the manager.

The park is beautiful. Have to pay additional for the spring.
