Where the Anclote River meets the Gulf Coast, Hickory Point RV Park sits on sandy, shelly gravel sites just minutes from downtown Tarpon Springs. This private campground accommodates RVs up to 50 feet with full hookups and provides both drive-in and boat-in access to its waterfront location.
The park maintains a clean atmosphere with paved roads throughout and a mix of long-term and transient guests. Sites vary in openness, with front areas offering less tree cover while back sections provide more shade. Campers can access small private beaches on the inlet, borrow kayaks and SUPs, and gather around the evening fire pit near sunset. "Has boat launch, waterfront community area, volleyball, small beach, dock," notes Elgin S.. The park also features a designated dog area plus wooded walking paths for pets.
AT&T provides reliable 5G coverage with speeds reaching 11 MB/s, while park WiFi delivers up to 8 MB/s. Sites can feel tight for those wanting outdoor space, but waterfront common areas offer tables and seating with river views. The location provides easy access to Mossy Oaks Mobile Home and RV Park and other campsites near Tarpon Springs for comparison shopping.
This campground works well for RVers prioritizing water access and proximity to Gulf Coast attractions over spacious individual sites.
