Encore Winter Quarters Manatee

The park is wonderful. Big. One of the two pools on the property provides a lovely view of the lake and a hot tub.The recreation hall is beautiful and has a lot of activities. Throughout the week, food trucks and other vendors visit the premises.Sites are spacious. The staff is very friendly. well-kept park BUT, it's right next to Highway 75.We were fortunate to have a site on the opposite side of the lake, farthest from 75, and the noise was no problem. The sites are assigned to you prior to arrive by text. But not on the other side of the lake. And to think, some of the sites on that side(along the lake) are Elite and Premium(between the lake sites and the standard sites that are up against 75), while standard and standard are practically backed up to the highway.We had a wonderful site. It was a bit different from the norm as you backed in, but you were parallel to the road you came down. It's different, but it's nice. The ATT hotspot was powerful, and T-Mobile phones are 5G!

Close to plenty of shopping and of course, Anna Maria Island, a must see!

I stayed here for 2 nights in mid April (spot 1263) and it was my first time staying here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The grounds were ok overall and internet worked fine. The electrical (30 amp and 50 amp) was farther back than the water, which wasn't a huge deal but might be inconvenient for some. Overall, I'd stay here again.

We stayed here twice on the way down to the keys and on the way back. Very convenient location and close to Walmart and Costco. We will definitely be back!
