Not Our Best Experience

The campground(CG) is easy to find off I-4 with an easy left turn past the interstate overpass. We checked in at the gate, not the registration building. We had to go back to registration after we set up to get our military discount. We drove straight down Everglades Ave to back-in site 244. Sites sit 90 degrees to the narrow street, so backing can be tricky, especially with all the vehicles parked along the road perpendicular to the pad entrance. Site 244 was a good choice as the entrance road/Everglades runs straight into the site, plus it's at the end of the CG with no one behind us. We reserved one of the larger sites, which was big enough for our 39 5th wheel, but we had to disconnect as our F450 was in the road. Water and electric were located in the middle of the pad. The sewer was at the end of the pad, and we needed right at 20 feet of hose. The CG has cable, and we received 59 channels. You also get a lot of OTA channels, and we could have used satellite. We got 4 bars on Verizon. Water pressure was above 60 psi, so we needed a reducer. Lazydays was a true resort with a lot of amenities, including an on-property restaurant. However, the CG is old and needs to be upgraded to better accommodate today's larger rigs. According to their website, they will close down on 1 April 2023 for renovations. There was a rumor going around that Lazydays sold the CG, and it will be under new ownership after it opens back up.

Very nice campground

This campground was adequate and very close to I-4. Sites are accommodating and clean. Pool and restaurant on site. If you have a dog they have a couple of dog parks on site buy I would recommend sites 36, 37 or 38. Large grass area for your own private dog area.

This is ok in a pinch

The sites are very close together. No fire pits. Heated pool and hot tub, the diner is pretty cool with basic bar food. Movie night for the kids. Lots of highway noise and a shipping center next door with backup alarms going off every minutes starting at 5 am. It was like an alarm clock going off for hours.

Not impressed

Not much shade. Restaurant was closed Sunday and Monday. Pool was closed for a day. Complimentary hot buffet breakfast was far from hot and it is not a buffet. Coffee was horrible.

This is a very large park with lots of daily activities and things to do. Be prepared, the sites are very tight and close together with no privacy.

Fantastic RV park

Best weekend ever for me. We were less than an hour away from home at Lazydays RV Resort and it felt like we were on the other side of the planet. Got to spend uninterrupted time with my bride and it was awesome. Cooking every meal outside, drunken golf cart cruises and a mediocre live band at the campground made it even better. Can’t wait until our next trip thanksgiving week up in the mountains.

RV Salon

So we came to lazy days to by an RV. The campground itself I'll term a commercial park. The sites are ontop of each other , you are a block off of I4 and 100 yards from a Flying J and TA gas station, if you are looking for quiet and serenity this is not the place. Now for the good stuff. This is the perfect place to take your RV to be pampered. There onsite RV services are incredible, they can do just about everything on your RV while set up on the pad. The pool is heated and screened in, there is a great lil restaurant inside the club house area , laundry, showers and good security at night. And lastly the staff is incredibly helpful and courteous. If your looking for a place to stop and then sightsee Tampa the price point is great

Clean, quiet, and friendly.

We stayed here for two nights to attend the strawberry festival in Plant City (about 20 minutes away) as well as visit a few bakeries and breweries. Check in was quick and easy. Trash was collected multiple times a day from our campsite. Security at night was friendly and helped us feel safe. Our spot had a nice light at the power pole which made it easy when loading up at night. Site also had a picnic table. We didn’t go swimming but the pool area is screened in and very clean. Will definitely stay again when in the area.

Rally and those just paying through.

We wouldn't pay to stay here in vacation. There's no privacy between RV sites, there will be a unit within 3ft of your rear bumper. The noise from I-4, TA and Flying J is easily heard. There's a nice restaurant in site and when you checking they'll give you breakfast vouchers for the cafeteria at the dealership. The screened in pool was heated and nice. Not quite enough bathroom stalls or showers to accommodate all the attendance. The laundry room is overused and could use a larger location. There are two dog runs, dog wash and playground as well as tennis and basketball courts that look to be in good condition. The park staff can use some customer service training, most of the time when approached they are inconvenienced. All in all it was ok to get in and out but we'd only stay for a night or two while transiting to a destination.

Fine for Overnight Stay

Paved roads and pads, concrete patio, FHU 50A throughout. Sites are close together but have nice grass in the park. We stayed on site 287. Indoor swimming pool. Nice laundry area and conference room. Restaurant in main building. Lazy Days holds many rallys here for different rv manufacturers. They pick up the trash at your site. There is a dumpster labeled for recycle near the entry.

Very Nice Campground, Dog friendly

This is an excellent campground with tons and tons of greenery. It is very dog friendly and the sites are spacious. There are a lot of activities and a great pool area.

This campground is close to Busch Gardens Tampa. We stayed here in a motor home.
