Nice peaceful place

It’s a great basic park. It does have a nice size dog run and very pet friendly as long as you pick up afterwards. The office manager Christina along with Melisa the maintenance manager has been nothing but fantastic since day one. After spending a few months here it seems to be a safe friendly environment.. I highly recommend it, it’s close to shopping and some good restaurants yet it’s not in the middle of the hustle.

Basic mobile home/RV park

We stayed there during the Tampa Show. Last minute decision. Park has a lot of long term RV's and many of them older. Dog friendly and has a decent sized dog run. We had a pull thru spot that was plenty long enough to leave our dolly hooked up to our 33' class A, and still have plenty of room to park in front. Although it was very narrow and I was a little concerned about my leveling jacks sinking in when it rained due to it being all grass. Fortunately it didn't rain much. There were cable hook ups, but I couldn't get a signal. Not sure about wifi, because I just used my hot spot. Most, if not all, of the short term spaces had picknick tables. Overall just a fairly quiet place to park with hookups and not too far off the highway.

Simple, no frills but has all the amenities needed

I stayed for a few months and had all the amenities I needed to be comfortable from wifi to hot showers. The rates are good and one of the few campgrounds in the area that isn't 55+ or big and expensive like lazy days. Great location for the strawberry festival but be sure to make a reservation.

The park's proximity to Plant City's attractions makes it a practical option for exploring the area.

Is Plantation Oaks primarily an RV park or mobile home community?

Plantation Oaks functions primarily as an RV park but has characteristics of both. The facility accommodates many long-term RV residents, with numerous older RVs visible throughout the property. This creates a mixed-use environment that serves both travelers and extended-stay guests.
