The Canoe Outpost Little Manatee River is a private, small, family business in operation since 1978. We offer RV and tent camping, group camping area, and cabin rentals, in a rustic setting under many oak trees on six acres on the banks of the Little Manatee River adjacent to the Little Manatee River State Park. We are also a full service canoe and kayak outfitter.

You can also camp under our canopy of trees in the forest and enjoy our trails on high ridges with water on both sides and explore the loop through our island. Enjoy feeding our Goats and Longhorns too at our working ranch.

Sun Lake RV Resort is a 47 unit Lakeside RV & MH community located within a pristine and natural Florida environment. There is plenty to do while staying with us; hiking, biking, fishing, canoeing, horseback riding, motocross, and much more. It's less than 1 mile from I-75 so it's minutes away from the entertainment and activities of Downtown Tampa and popular cities such as Anna Maria Island, Sarasota, Bradenton, Tampa and Clearwater.  

  

Some of our amenities include a cozy clubhouse, climate controlled pool, like new laundry facility and bathhouse with hot showers, free Wi-Fi, horseshoes, shuffleboard, campfire area, RV/boat storage and more. Our 32 acre bass fishing lake is accessible by non motorized or electric watercraft. The bass on average are 3-5 pounds, however we've had up to 8 pounds on occasion.   

  

Our community is well maintained. The owners take great pride in providing a good place to visit each year and also live all year.

The Love Lodge is a delightful discovery on a private fenced acre surrounded by woods featuring a luxuriously appointed cozy Lodge sleeping up to five to six in an open floorplan. Tents can be set up on-site with a pull-through site for campers and RVs up to about 24 feet. 110V Electric provided. Spring water via a nearby hose. Gas grill with propane. Fire circle with wood and two stand up bars and seating. Porta-potty outdoors. Playground. Additional Cottage available sleeping two in "The Love Nest". 12 miles to #1 rated mountain biking trails at The Alafia River State Park. Five minutes to Alderman Ford Canoe & Kayak launch.
