Description

Hi! My name is Rafael Braune and I own this precious property at Groveland and I’m glad I can share this with you! If you are looking for a peaceful and quiet place, my property is what you need. Bring tent! We are located in a rural area of Groveland, in the Green Swamp area. We love camping, so we decided to have our own “campground” in our 50 acres property and share it with people who share our passion! Rural doesn’t have to mean far from everything: we are close to Disney (around 35 minutes) and less than 10 minutes from grocery stores and restaurants. Feel free to fish in our private 15 acres pond! Wildlife can be seen everywhere! Cranes, deer, wild turkeys, hogs and more can be easily spotted. If you love nature and wildlife, you gonna love this place!

Hideout and swamp are about the only truths

Horrible for tent camping. Didn't own an RV. I'm just traveling through, and I went off of what information was listed. This place is pathetic. Not as advertised. Trash is not taken out regularly. One table on the ground, and it's not a picnic camping table. Tent campers have no showers or restroom. Freeway is very close and noisy. Campground is not really for campers. I'd stay away. This place is appearing fraudulent. Owner does not run this property accordingly. Seems like just a place to store RVs. Not for camping in tents or RVs. Stay away. There's much better camping across the state, regulated and maintained.

You don’t know how happy I am knowing that you are finally getting a f. out of here. I could not expect anything different from a person like you. Pretty much drunk all the time, cursing and yelling at anyone who approaches you. Your trash isn’t being taken out because I told my employee to not even come close to you and your madness. It’s not nice to have a drunk cursing you when you are working. Usually I feel bad for homeless people but you deserve the life you have because you attracted it to you. You totally need psychiatric help. The day hurricane Milton left 75% of the county without power, this insane person start to yell and curse me telling that it was my fault and I had to fix it right away. I know she was drunk, but doesn’t matter for me. A old woman like you should behave properly. Check out is at 11:00am (and for you sharp). If you are not out of my property by that time I will call the cops to drag you out.

Very relaxing out of the way and quiet

This place is a very quiet location. The owner of the property is extremely friendly. You can hear wild turkeys in the morning. You're far enough away from the city to get an excellent view of the sky.

Quiet and secluded with lots of wildlife

I stayed at Raphael's campground for a few days during spring turkey season. I was very impressed with how clean the grounds were and was surprised to see that they had installed 30-amp hookups for electricity and water. I was tenting so didn't take advantage of those, but they are there. The location is pretty secluded and very quiet, aside from the local wildlife that are nearby (turkey gobbles and sandhill cranes squawking), but that is what camping is all about! The other folks there were super nice and very helpful. I was very grateful for Raphael's flexibility on check out time so I could get an extra morning of hunting in. Overall, I'd highly recommend camping here and I'll be back next spring.

Awesome Campsite

There were a lot of places to set up. Was able to get close to the water and set up in the wooded area. Great spot, and Rafael was super nice and accommodating! Would definitely camp here again.
