Best RV Parks & Resorts near Grant, FL

Several RV parks near Grant, Florida provide full hookup sites with varying amenities. Encore Sunshine Travel RV Resort in Vero Beach offers concrete pads with water, electric, and sewer connections, accommodating larger rigs with 50-amp service. Vero Beach Kamp in Sebastian features 120 sites with water and electric hookups, plus a dump station for longer stays. "The sites are level, paved, and pretty big. We have a 40ft 5th wheel and fit the rig and truck on the site and still had room to spread out," noted one camper about the area's RV accommodations. Space Coast RV Resort in Rockledge caters specifically to RVs with big-rig friendly sites and full hookups, while Camelot RV Park in Malabar provides similar amenities with boat access options.

Most RV parks in the region remain open year-round, though winter months from November through February see significantly higher occupancy with seasonal residents. Cell service varies by location and carrier, with T-Mobile and AT&T generally providing adequate coverage throughout the area. Many parks offer on-site laundry facilities, swimming pools, and designated pet areas with specific leash requirements. Proximity to I-95 makes several parks convenient for overnight stays, though road noise can be noticeable at locations closest to major highways. Dump stations often experience long wait times during peak checkout periods, particularly at parks without full sewer hookups at each site. Based on reviews from The Dyrt, several parks have recently upgraded their facilities, including new bathhouses, improved WiFi systems, and expanded recreational amenities.

Lucky Clover RV & Mobile Home Park

    Convenient park for long-term stays

My partner and I were looking for a snow-bird location for the winter in the Melbourne area and came across this park. We read the old reviews and wanted to make sure we left a more up-to-date review for others.

So here's the deal... There aren't many RV parks in the area(at least near where we wanted to be) so options were slim. We spoke with Sue, the absolutely outstanding property manager, and decided to give the park a try. It is important to note, the park is under new ownership/management(Parakeet Communities- parakeetcommunities-dot-com/community/lucky-clover/). The new management has worked*extremely* hard to clean up and revitalize the park so please try to ignore some of the older reviews.

This park is definitely not for overnight or even weekly stays. This is a long-term mobile home and RV community with individuals who either live here full-time or for at least several(6+) months at a time. Navigating the inside roads with a big-rig is only possible with the help of the on-site property maintenance person, Jason, who is also amazingly friendly and helpful. The spaces are close together but even with our 43' fifth wheel, we were able to back-in to our space easily enough.

We have found all residents in the park to be extremely friendly, polite, and all live with a tremendous sense of community pride in the park. Our immediate neighbors walked over and introduced themselves the first day we moved in, which was so delightful and welcoming. We know our neighbor's names and feel very welcomed and safe in this park.

< 6 month rates are$1,400/mo and>6 month rates are around$1,100(or thereabouts). Rent includes electricity, water, sewer, and trash. There is a laundry building with washers/dryers but we have not used them. The park is in a prime location near shopping, groceries, restaurants, and is walking distance to the beach. There is also a well-kept swimming pool on property however, we have not had a chance to take a dip; It looks nice enough though. Cellular service is decent in the park however, if you will be here long-term, it would be best to purchase Internet service through Spectrum for$50/mo. All sites have Spectrum cable hookups but you will need to purchase your own TV/Internet service.

    Road Runner Travel Resort

    Wonderful Park

We discovered this place on a vacation trip to see a friend on Hutchinson Island in Fort Pierce FL. We are now camping here seasonally in a 35 ft Class A RV. There's a large pool, a good-sized general / convenience store with all the essentials you might need, and a full restaurant right on site. The RV sites vary in size and set-up, most are level, most have a concrete patio. most have full hook-ups. There are also a number of "villas" (short, single-wide manufactured homes) that people either rent for an extended stay, or own, interspersed throughout the park. Many people live here year-round, and even more live here for three or six months during winter. There are 3 rustic cabins and a few spaces for tents. While this is billed as a "family" resort, most of the longer-term campers are retired, or "digital nomads" that work remotely. There are a few families with kids, and a few people like us who don't have children but are younger than retirement age. It's a good mix. There are adult activities - Bingo, karaoke, jam sessions, trivia night, pickleball, tennis, shuffleboard, Pentaque, cornhole, basketball, crafts (for adults), and more. Short stays are not cheap, but longer stays are pretty affordable considering the great pool and all there is to do. Oh, there are fireplaces at the premium pull-through sites, fires are allowed on regular sites only in a raised, enclosed firepit. There is also community firepit. We love it here.

    Encore Space Coast

Top 20 RV Parks for us!

Lots of long term RVers and very few sites for Thousand Trails Members. Very close to Cocoa Beach!

We enjoy this park a lot because it has so much to offer nearby, They have narrow spots but great landscaping. There are some permanent structures, mostly rentals and some that seem to be owned. You will get to feel and hear rocket launches from Cape Canaveral.

This park has easy access to the highway. Approximately 30 minutes from Cocoa Beach, and Cape Canaveral.

They didn’t seem to have sections that were very different from one another.

Cell signals: Decent cell service for T-Mobile and AT&T

They have: A Pool 1 Hot Tub Shuffle Board Club House Mail Room Camp Store A small pond Alligators Laundry Several Fountains Friday Flea Market/Swap Meets Lots of clubhouse activities Community Board Hair Salon

The park is clean, quiet, safe, and near attractions we love.

    Whispering Palms Resort

55 and over campground Snowbird haven !

Very clean, all sites are concrete and mostly level. A mix of 30 and 50 amp hookups with water and sewer as well. There are 2 swimming pools, one is designated for families traveling with children. There is a small lake for catch and release fishing. Shuffleboard, tennis, horseshoe, bocce ball, and pickle ball courts. There are a couple of community building, one for playing pool (4 tables) and a card room. Another building for larger community events. It is a dog friendly campground, dogs must always be on a leash and not left outside unattended. After a full COVID recovery more community events are being planned. About 85% of the campground are permanent residents. Short term camping in the front of the park with some pull through sites for the big rigs. Easy access off of US Hwy 1 Sebastian, Fl.

    Long Point Park Campground

    First time camper’s opinion

This is the first time we have gone camping in our new travel trailer. Therefore, I don’t have the experience to compare to. For what it’s worth…The sites are clean and have a picnic table and fire ring. Although I believe there is a burn ban at the moment. The outer sites at the waters edge have only electric and water hookups. There are some sites that have sewer hookups as well but are not directly on water. Some sites have a larger opening through the brush than others. I appreciate that you can view a photo of site when booking on their website. There is a dump station in the campground if needed. Staff that checked me in was friendly. Dog friendly. Very nice experience.

    Resort at Canopy Oaks

    Great Clean Site

Sites are all level, paved, and pretty big. We have a 40ft 5th wheel and fit the rig and truck on the site and still had room to spread out. Full hookups and high speed internet were available at each site as well. Plenty to do at the park from fishing, hitting golf balls, relaxing in the pool, feeding the goats, hanging out at the tiki bar, or watching the dogs run in the two dog parks. Very friendly and accommodating staff as well.

    Fort Pierce-Port St. Lucie KOA

    Close to town and well-kept

General: Small family-run KOA campground (33 sites) located 1.5 miles north of Fort Pierce on Highway One. All sites are FHU with a combination of regular, premium, and extra-large sites. There is also a tent site area.

Site Quality: All sites are level and gravel with a fire pit and a brick patio area with a picnic table. Typical RV park layout with minimal to no privacy separating sites.

Bathhouse: Two unisex all-in-ones that were clean and air-conditioned. The shower had immediate hot water and good water pressure.

Activities/Amenities: There is a small playground and pet area plus a clean spacious laundry area. It is close to town. There is a manatee center and Navy Seal Museum (but we didn’t explore either one) close by in addition to shops and restaurants in Fort Pierce. I was able to enjoy a 3-mile run to town and back on sidewalks.

This campground was more expensive than we usually like to spend but it was a convenient location for us to have dinner with a family friend. We arrived after the office was closed so did not have any interaction with staff but our check-in paperwork was readily available. We appreciate that we were tucked in at the rear of the property which lessened the road noise (and we didn’t have neighbors on either side of us). I would rate this three stars for our purposes but as it was well-kept and for others may suit their needs, it merits four stars in general.

    Savannas Recreational Park

    Hidden Gem

I have done several reviews of this place each time I discover more. Full Hookups, 50amp at all sites, sewer/water and free wifi. Excellent cell service on T-mobile. Clean laundry facilities. Tennis, basketball, canoe rental. 2 dog parks one for over 30lbs and one for under 30 lbs. My biggest complaint has been the picnic tables so happy to see the were all replaced with new in the last 3 month. Great walking trails and wonderful wildlife and landscape for viewing. Great opportunities for some excellent photography shots why I keep coming back. Of course the friendly staff. Enjoy my video.
