Coleman Landing at Shady Oaks

This is an absolutely beautiful and relaxing spot. We are at site 26, on a weekday in April, and there are very few other campers around. This site offers a beautiful sunrise view over the lake, and is surrounded with gorgeous moss covered oak trees all around the campsites. The hosts have been exceptionly helpful and friendly, and this is definitely a place I would recommend!

Cannot say enough great things about this special place! During the weekends it can get filled up and busy. We were there for a few days during the week and enjoyed every minute. Close to lake, great for bird watching and walks/ boating. Friendly host and fellow campers. We will definitely be returning. For the price, can’t beat it. First come first serve, recommend doing the Grape Hammock air boat tours from fish camp!

This is great camping Spot, it's quiet I couldn't hear any road noise and the neighbour's were also quiet. If you plan to tent make sure you bring supplies with you as the nearest Supermarket is 25 minute drive.

The place is perfect for those who go fishing, camping in an RV or in a tent. Easy boat launch to Kissimmee Lake. Pleasant weather, everyone around being very kind and friendly. Family atmosphere and calm both during the day and night.
Drinking water and electric plug at the camping sites. Easy access, and very polite staff. For small children or those who do not have a boat, the attractions are more restricted.

Clear bathroom with a good warm shower and tank disposal for RV.

Fire Pit helps to warm up the night and make smores, but not all campsites have it. It is important to bring your own firewood if you want more comfort.

Great place to post up base camp and explore 3 Lakes wilderness area!

Very peaceful and pretty deserted in June. Some spots were flooded due to recent heavy rains and others were blocked off due to COVID-19 social distancing requirements but we still had quite a selection of shady spots to choose from. Water and electric hookups were available and some spots had fire rings and picnic tables. Tables were in ok condition. Bath house was pretty clean with tepid water for showers, but they were free! We had no luck fishing from the shore and boat launch and would guarantee better luck from a boat. Launch is $5 and there is an honor box for payment. Only downside besides the heat (Summer in FL) were the large ants that were everywhere. Overall, we loved the place and will definitely be back in cooler weather.

With Spanish moss draping from the Live Oak trees and bordering Kissemee Lake, it's a nice place to just sit and relax... There are 3 boat ramps ($5 fee) with some tie-ups for overnight. Bird-life is abundant and bass fishing is productive... There's a sheltered group picnic area near the launch with ADA accessibility. Sites are reasonably spaced and mostly level sand. First come/first serve....
