Wickham Park Campground

Accessible by paved roads within Wickham Park, this county-managed campground accommodates RVs up to 38 feet with full hookups including electric, water, and sewer connections. The facility operates on a paid reservation system and welcomes pets throughout its drive-in and walk-in sites.

Campers consistently note the campground's cleanliness, particularly praising the shower facilities that provide hot water. The sites near the fishing ponds offer better spacing between neighbors, while section C toward the back has attracted some longer-term residents. A fallen tree serves as an unofficial climbing structure for children, though its future remains uncertain due to a gopher tortoise nest underneath. Food trucks visit periodically, and the broader park includes walking trails, mountain bike paths, and an archery range.

The location provides convenient access to scenic Route A1A and local shopping. Steven S. notes "Everything is kept clean, nice fishing ponds and nice and quite." Standard amenities include restrooms, drinking water, a dump station, and WiFi connectivity. The park also features a community garden, disc golf course, and playground facilities.

For a different experience, Brevard County Park Wickham Campground sits nearby with an alternative setting.

Renaissance Faire Stay

We stayed here because we work the Brevard Show, and it was amazing! We loved the fallen tree, and so do kids to climb! It was a nice hidden surprise.

Unfortunately it might be taken down, there is however a nest of gopher tortoises under the tree. But all in all the park was great, and had good food when the food trucks came through!

The bathrooms and showers are pretty good too! They get nice and hot!

Not horrible but not great

I agree with the review before mine. The sites are nice by the ponds. Good spacing between them and clean looking. The back sites (sect C) had rigs that have been there a while. Some with old discarded air conditioners on the picnic tables or junk around them. We unfortunately were next to a couple that allowed their dog to poop all over their site and never once picked up after it. The location of this park is conveniently located to scenic Route A1A and plenty of stores.

Not great

The area seemed more of a housing area for the less fortunate. Lots of tents and what it looked “ permanent outdoor living “ nice park , but the camp grounds were not great.

Convenient location and lots to do

We love camping here! It’s very close to shops but it doesn’t feel like it when you’re in the campground. Close to beaches. Lots of trails to walk or mountain bike. We’re full timers so we took advantage of the community garden here for a season. Disc golf, food trucks, farmers market, playground the list goes on! Great plaxe

My hometown park

Took my son camping this weekend to our hometown park. It’s a great place with lots of bike/walking paths and wide open, quiet spaces. Hope to take advantage of the fishing ponds, mountain bike trails and archery range in future visits.
