Friendly host, dusty site

Advertised at $35 on The Dyrt, it was $63 with a discount. Closest bath house was mediocre, and no WiFi! Nice registration person offered her personal hotspot. As my 5th rv camping experience, I’m learning what to ask for up front.

Lovely spot, but busy grounds and nearby road

We are working out way north through CA and Horse Creek was in a convenient spot. Site very clean and well managed and overall its a pretty spot. Only 2-3 large and dispersed bath rooms. A number of large groups around the site which looks fun but it felt more like an urban park than being in…

Sufficient

Good place to crash if the sequoia campgrounds are full. Good amenities, and friendly staff, but you sacrifice privacy and immediate access to the park’s trails. About 1.5 hours from Giant Forest and Wolverton, but it’s a gorgeous 1.5 hours.

we love this place

we have stayed here three times.  We really like this place.  It is affordable.  It is quiet.  The hosts are very accomodating.  It is not fancy, but then neither are we.  The spots are large and comfortable.  We will keep coming back here.

Pretty view from the park

Bottom line....Make sure if you are following your gps, you key in Sequoia RV Park and not the one with RV resort. There are many ways to arrive here, but the most direct and easiest is on California State Highway 180. The park is open, but the office is not, so it’s find a spot and check…

Nice campground

We had booked a pull thru site and they asked to change our spot because they were having a party that day in that area. I was okay with it until we got there and tried to pull into the spot. We have a 35 foot 5th wheel and they put us on the far end where it was hard to turn. It took a lot of…

Great camping for newbies

Sweet Oaks winery campgrounds has 16 sites available for both tent camping and RV’s (no hook-ups). It’s pretty close to grocery stores and big box stores just in case you forgot some gear/supplies. They have a beautiful well-kept property with super-clean restrooms (no showers). They do have a…

False Advertisement!

I am so disappointed and feel cheated with this campground. We drove 4.5 hours to find that this campsite is dead, totally different place than the one in the website and pictures. Everything was dried up, 5-6 campsites were out of order due to electrical problems, Wifi does not work, and pond is…

Nice river place

This place is great if your looking to camp by a river. Close to three river stores and lake kaweah too.

Lake Access

This spot is great if you want to be right by the water. The campsite is sometime filled with water so it is a seasonal thing. Be careful for snakes in this area.

Excellent

From Facebook review on Feb 26, 2020 by George K.“The best thing about Sequoia RV Park is the couple who manage it. Luz and Carlos are just a pleasure to be around- they are super helpful and always ready to chat or give advice or recommendations. Add to this the full range of services, easily…

For an RV camp this is top-notch!

We got a spot right on one of the river branches, with a great mountain view. Park was relatively empty. The weather was unseasonably warm and sunny with cool nights. Nice, semi-grassy sites with fire-pits made from washing machine tubs(good idea!). Staff was friendly. Campground close to nice…

Spacious and Clean

We camped here for just a night, passing the Fresno area but wish we could have stayed longer. Lots of trees, river and lagoon access, friendly and helpful staff. Skoolie friendly to boot!

Gross Park

Don't waste your money. Bathrooms were disgusting. Was looking forward to a hot shower after traveling two full days....would not even go there cause it was that gross. You can tell no one who works there cares. The amount of deferred maintenance is astounding!
